Erica Packer and Shannon Bennett have split after 18 months together.
This year, it’s reported that the ex-singer (age 47) and famous chef (age 49) ended their relationship. Close associates have mentioned that geographical distance played a significant role in their separation, as per news.com.au.
Currently, Erica, previously married to billionaire James Packer, now calls London home as she has moved there along with her three kids, to be close to her sister.
Instead, it’s worth noting that Shannon, who occasionally appears as a judge on MasterChef, resides at Belongil Beach, which is near the picturesque town of Byron Bay. His business, Culinary Wonderland, operates primarily out of Sydney.
The friend of the couple mentioned that overcoming the distance would inevitably pose difficulties for them, according to the publication.

Shannon had previously opened up about navigating their long-distance relationship.
He disclosed the previous year that his partner often travels extensively to keep their relationship going.
‘She’s really good. (Erica is) going back and forwards a lot,’ he told the Herald Sun.
He continued, expressing that it was an exciting and wonderful journey. He also mentioned how remarkable it was that they hadn’t crossed paths sooner. They were clearly enjoying every moment of their lives.
‘I’m a very lucky man’.
Last April, according to Sunday Confidential, the couple announced their purchase of a shared home, which occurred only a few months following their initial public debut as an item.
According to the report, the duo was reportedly doing well and had chosen to grow their relationship further by residing in Shannon’s luxurious beachfront home located at Belongil Beach.
Amongst themselves, the couple have a combined total of nine children. Shannon has Phoenix, Hendrix, Xascha, Xanthe, Xahlia, and Margaux with their former partner, Madeleine West.

In the year 2007, Erica wed her ex-husband James, but they parted ways in 2013. Despite the separation, they maintain a cordial relationship due to their shared responsibility in raising their three kids.
It’s said that following her split, Erica got a divorce settlement worth around $100 million and immediately bought a new residence for her family in Los Angeles.
In contrast, Shannon’s relationship with ex-partner Madeleine West is not as amicable.
As a devoted admirer, I must share that Shannon, whose culinary skills earned him recognition on MasterChef Australia, parted ways with his partner Madeleine in the month of September 2018, following 13 years together.
Madeleine later stated the separation process ‘turned love toxic’.
