According to a report by TopMob News on September 4th, the coroner of Adams County confirmed that the paranormal expert, who was staying in a Pennsylvania hotel room in July as part of a tour with an infamous doll, passed away due to heart-related issues.

Although some speculate that a creepy doll could have been involved in Rivera’s sudden demise, it was established by the coroner’s office that this doll, famous for its role in the Conjuring movies, was not present at the scene of the accident when the 54-year-old perished.

Mr. Rivera’s medical records showed a history of heart problems, aligning with the findings reported by the coroner, Francis Dutrow, in his statement. Additionally, it has been established that Annabelle was not in the room when Mr. Rivera passed away.

While the initial Pennsylvania State Police report indicated Rivera’s death as natural, it was later determined that his passing was not classified as a natural one (by Dutrow).

In response to growing speculations about the subject, Jason Hawes, a colleague of Rivera in the field of paranormal investigation, stepped forward to dispel the rumors.

In a Facebook post following Rivera’s demise, the former Ghost Hunters team member stated that the world has lost a compassionate individual.
