As a die-hard film fanatic, I can’t help but feel exhilarated about the impressive box office performance of “The Conjuring: Last Rites.” This terrifying sequel has truly stolen the spotlight, outshining even Marvel’s highly anticipated “Thunderbolts” debut. While “Thunderbolts” put up a valiant fight with a solid start, it was “The Conjuring: Last Rites” that claimed the victory in our local movie theater during its opening weekend, setting a new franchise high for itself! It’s clear that the chilling Conjuring series continues to captivate audiences like no other.
