Jeff Bezos usually doesn’t hear the word no – but he did before his wedding.
Instead of insisting, the wealthy entrepreneur, aged 61, expressed a strong desire to see Lauren Sanchez, also 55, in her wedding attire before their wedding; at one instance, he made a heartfelt plea, though she firmly declined.
According to Laura Tortora from Vogue Italia, Sanchez was reluctant as she intended to present him with this surprise regardless of the cost.
On the special day in Venice, Italy, last Friday, Sanchez adorned herself in a personalized Dolce & Gabbana dress while taking vows, surrounded by approximately 200 esteemed guests.
The outfit was fitted like a corset and had a mermaid design, capturing the attention of the Amazon founder before the wedding, as stated by Tortora to the publication.
According to Tortora’s statement to People, the event took place following her final fitting at Dolce & Gabbana. Our sources then spotted her right away, and she appeared incredibly thrilled.

Tortora mentioned that Sanchez herself expressed, “It was more powerful than I anticipated,” and further disclosed that Jeff desired to view this particular dress.
As a die-hard fan, I couldn’t help but share this intriguing tale. You see, Bezos yearned to catch a glimpse of the gown. Yet, deep within her heart, she stood firm against his pleas, clinging onto the surprise she wished to unveil at any cost. And oh, did she pull it off!
Steps were implemented to ensure that the wealthy entrepreneur didn’t catch sight of the broadcaster dressed extravagantly before their significant event, according to Tortora’s statement to the magazine.
In my own words, I would say: To ensure discretion during our intimate moments, I was carefully positioned within a room that overlooked neither the garden nor the photographers’ vantage point. This way, even amidst the public eye, we managed to preserve our secret and maintain privacy with my future spouse.
