The highly awaited collection of classic Mortal Kombat fighting games, known as Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection, is scheduled to arrive on October 30th, according to the publisher Atari.
If you prefer having a physical copy of this collection, be aware that it won’t be available on Blu-ray until December 12th. So, you might have to wait a bit longer.
Previously mentioned, this assembly encompasses virtually all Mortal Kombat games released through the PlayStation 2 generation, except for Mortal Kombat Gold on Dreamcast, which is the main significant exception.

As a devoted fan, I can’t help but get excited about this game! Not only does it offer multiplayer action with smooth rollback netcode, but it also features an immersive interactive documentary that delves deep into the franchise’s history. Plus, you’ll find a wealth of information about the characters, timelines, and various other aspects of the series – it’s like having a complete library of the franchise right at your fingertips!
The full, final list of games included is as follows:
- Mortal Kombat โ 1992: Arcade, SNES, Genesis, Game Boy, Game Gear
- Mortal Kombat II โ 1993: Arcade, SNES, Genesis, Game Boy, 32X
- Mortal Kombat 3 โ 1995: Arcade, SNES, Genesis
