As we’ve been mentioning, September is quite hectic with numerous new releases. So, brace yourself for a challenging week ahead!
Next week brings an astonishing 26 new games to release, with plenty more expected to surface. It seems the main consolation is that most of these are smaller titles: Trails in the Sky – First Chapter and Dying Light: The Beast stand out as the most notable ones.
These are all the new PS5 and PS4 games coming out next week.
New PS5, PS4 Games Next Week (15th-21st September)
- BrokenLore: LOW (15th September – PS5): “BrokenLore: LOW is a psychological horror game set in the beautiful Japanese village of Kirisame-mura, where an ancient legend haunts the land: a giant skeleton from Japanese folklore, the Gashadokuro.”

- Football Heroes League (16th September – PS5): “Football Heroes League is a high-octane multiplayer soccer game where superhuman abilities meet precise controls.”
- Parasol Superstars (16th September – PS5, PS4): “Two legendary adventures in one stellar bundle. Experience the whimsical charm of Parasol Stars and the cosmic journey of Spica Adventure – together in one action-packed collection.”
- Henry Halfhead (16th September – PS5): “Henry Halfhead is a quirky sandbox adventure game about an odd little character with the ability to become any object within their reach. Discover every object’s unique properties and abilities and cleverly combine them to take Henry through their not-so-ordinary everyday life.”
- Slime Heroes (16th September – PS5, PS4): “Play as the last slime tasked with saving their home in this cute 3D action-adventure slimes-like! Customize your slime, play alone or with a friend, collect weapons and gear, battle challenging enemies and bosses, gain skills, and combine them to create your own abilities to suit your playstyle!”
- UBOAT (17th September – PS5): “UBOAT is primarily a CREW MANAGEMENT game, where your success depends on leading your men, not manually controlling the submarine.”
- ZOE Begone (17th September – PS5): “ZOE Begone! blends run-and-gun mechanics with classic shmup action in looping arenas. Inspired by drawn-on-film animation of the 1930’s – shoot, dash and pound your way through the Animator’s creations.”
- Arctic Awakening (18th September – PS5): “Arctic Awakening is a first-person narrative adventure set in the mysterious Arctic North where you and your robotic companion, Alfie, must search for your co-pilot and uncover the mysteries waiting around every turn.
- Bad Cat (18th September – PS5): “Welcome to Cat Simulator 3D and cat life with granny! Cat and granny live in one house — it’s the ultimate revenge of cat vs granny. Take on the role of the most mischievous kitty in this animal simulator game.”
- Class of Heroes 3 Remaster (18th September – PS5): “Class is back in session! After a 15 year wait Class of Heroes 3, the revered school-themed dungeon RPG series, is finally here!”
- Dying Light: The Beast (18th September – PS5): “You are Kyle Crane. After being captured by the Baron and enduring his painful experiments for years, you escape. But the scars remain. - Hyke: Northern Lights (18th September – PS5): “Embark on a thrilling 2D top-down action pixel RPG with Hyke, a witch who loves camping, as you explore dangerous forbidden zones filled with magic.”
- Moon Mystery (18th September – PS5): “The Moon. Our closest celestial neighbor. A place full of mystery and strange things. A lone astronaut is about to learn that first hand, when he loses contact with Earth and begins an interstellar odyssey across the universe”
- Platypus Reclayed (18th September – PS5, PS4): “22 years after its first appearance, the iconic indie shoot ‘em up Platypus is coming back, better than ever! Led by the original creator Anthony Flack, alongside the talented Claymatic team, we’re embarking on a journey to bring the beloved classic into the present.”
- Puzzle Quest: Immortal Edition (18th September – PS5, PS4): “Puzzle Quest: Immortal Edition combines the classic match 3 puzzle game with deep level role playing. - Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter (19th September – PS5): “The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, a story-driven RPG that took off as the landmark first installment of the beloved Trails series, is receiving a full remake!”
- Wander Stars (19th September – PS5): “Join Ringo, a young martial artist looking for her brother, and Wolfe, a mysterious scoundrel running from his past, as they join forces in an unlikely partnership to collect the pieces of the fabled Wanderstar Map.
