The ‘Scoundrel Roundup‘ quest is a side mission in Borderlands 4, connected to the larger ‘The Kairos Job’ storyline. You’ll be tasked with finding Kilo, a skilled individual who could be a valuable asset to your team. This guide will quickly walk you through how to complete the quest and recruit her.

As mentioned earlier, the “Scoundrel Roundup: Kilo” mission begins as soon as you start “The Kairos Job”. Once it activates, simply find Kilo at the location marked on your map. It’s just a short distance northwest from where you met Shim and began “The Kairos Job” – not far at all!

Okay, so when you finally arrive, keep an eye out for a woman with short hair – that’s Kilo. Go chat with her and tell her who you are. Just let her explain things, and my character will automatically offer to help her out.

Kilo will then direct you to a machine. You’ll need to use the four devices on it, following Kilo’s guidance. Just do what Kilo tells you, in the order they give you. You have around 5 seconds for each step, so take your time!

Just in case, here’s the full sequence in order so you can memorize it first if you want to:

  1. Melee attack the red button at the bottom. Doing this the first time will start the timer!
  2. Interact with the switch on the left.
  3. Shoot the panel at the top.
  4. Interact with the lever on the right.
  5. Shoot the panel at the top.
  6. Interact with the switch on the left.
  7. Melee attack the red button at the bottom.
  8. Interact with the lever on the right.
  9. Melee attack the red button at the bottom.
  10. Interact with the switch on the left.

Once you’ve finished that step, simply listen to Kilo as she agrees to help you with The Kairos Job. That completes the “Scoundrel Roundup: Kilo” side quest in Borderlands – it’s a pretty straightforward one, thankfully!
