Capcom revealed that along with the new trailer for *Resident Evil Requiem* – coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 – two other *Resident Evil* games are also headed to the console. *Resident Evil Village Gold Edition* and *Resident Evil 7: biohazard Gold Edition* will both be available on February 27, 2026, and will run directly on the Switch 2, rather than relying on cloud streaming.
The *Resident Evil Village* package now includes the *Winters’ Expansion* and Trauma Pack. The *Winters’ Expansion* continues the story from the original game with a new story called *Shadows of Rose*, and it also adds new playable characters to Mercenaries mode. *Resident Evil 7: biohazard* also comes with all of its downloadable content, including *Not A Hero*, which tells a story focused on an important supporting character.
We’ll share more specifics-like screen resolutions and frame rates-in the months ahead. You can play *Resident Evil Requiem* on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC starting today. For the newest information from Gamescom, check here.
Get ready to experience the terrifying events of Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil Village on the Nintendo Switch 2! Both games, featuring the horrifying Baker mansion and a chilling village setting, will be available starting February 27th.
