See Scarlett Johansson, Colin Jost’s Red Carpet Rebirth at Emmys 2025

Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost’s romantic night out is definitely award-worthy.

The couple happily walked the red carpet at the 2025 Emmys, held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on September 14th.

Scarlett, 40, and Colin, 43, made a stylish entrance, having married in 2020. Scarlett wore a beautiful cream-colored gown with drop earrings, while Colin looked sharp in a classic black suit and bowtie. (Click here to see photos of all the stars on the red carpet.)

The night was a big win for the *Saturday Night Live* star, who won two awards for his writing. He received an Emmy for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Special for *SNL50: The Anniversary Special* and another for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series for *SNL*. He was also nominated for Outstanding Host for a Game Show for his work on *Pop Culture Jeopardy!*

Scarlett and Colin, who are parents to 4-year-old Cosmo and Scarlett’s 11-year-old daughter Rose from a previous marriage to Romain Dauriac, have often appeared together publicly. However, Scarlett recently turned heads when she kissed her *Jurassic World: Rebirth* co-star Jonathan Bailey at not one, but two premieres of the film in June.

But when asked about the viral exchanges, Colin was totally unfazed.

Okay, so he was talking to *Entertainment Tonight* a while back, and it was SO insightful! He basically said it’s like in *Jurassic Park* – you always get blindsided by the danger you *didn’t* see coming. And he said, of all the people he thought could cause trouble, Jonathan was the *last* one he suspected. Seriously, I’ve been replaying that quote in my head ever since! It’s just… perfect. He gets me, you know?

After all, there’s one key reason why Scarlett’s bond with her costar didn’t pose a real problem.

Colin recalled that Jonathan being openly gay didn’t seem like a major issue. He remembered joking with Jonathan on the red carpet about whether they were expected to kiss, as if that would resolve some unspoken understanding between them.
