Ashlee Simpson Shares Rare Update on Her & Evan Ross’ Daughter Jagger

Jagger Snow Ross has found her L.O.V.E. for fashion.

Ashlee Simpson is supportive of this, explaining that her and Evan Ross’s 10-year-old daughter is now able to do her own makeup and style herself without assistance.

Ashlee shared that her daughter now chooses her own outfits. “She won’t let me dress her anymore,” Ashlee told TopMob News at a fashion event in New York City on September 13th. “I can buy the clothes, but she’s the one who decides what to wear. She’s definitely got a great sense of style and will be a fashion icon!”

The 40-year-old, who is also a mother to 4-year-old Ziggy Blu Ross (with Evan, 37) and 16-year-old Bronx Mowgli Wentz (with ex-husband Pete Wentz), praised someone by saying, “She’s really, really good at it.”

Ashlee Simpson is known for her unique fashion sense, and it’s easy for her to stand out because she’s already a style icon. Back in the early 2000s, she was always ahead of the curve with trends like layered necklaces, bold belts, capri pants, and tulle skirts.

However, she admitted that her closet looks a lot different these days.

I’ve had my share of bold fashion choices over the years, but now that I’m a mom, I mostly live in comfortable ballet flats and prioritize practical, mom-friendly styles.

Now that she’s singing again, she’s showing fans a new part of her personality. She shared that she’s really enjoying experimenting with her stage presence and style, saying, “It’s been fun to change things up.”

Ashlee’s thrilled that early 2000s fashion – like butterfly clips, baby tees, and bomber jackets – is making a comeback. She said it’s ‘so much fun’ to see people embracing those Y2K trends again.

Ashlee is currently performing a week-long residency at the Voltaire nightclub in Las Vegas’s Venetian Resort, lasting until September 27th. This new venture has also impressed her children, earning her their approval.
