Alix Earle Details Gruesome Dancing With the Stars Injuries

For Alix Earle, dipping her toe in the Dancing With the Stars world came at a price.

The influencer shared details about the injuries she got while practicing for the ballroom competition show on ABC, just days before the first contestant was eliminated in season 34.

I was really shocked to see Alix share on TikTok on September 21st that she’s been getting hurt during training. She said she’s bruised up around her collarbones, and unbelievably, she actually lost a toenail during practice today! It’s a tough sport, and it’s a reminder of how much dedication it takes.

She was 24 and indicated her knee, explaining it was badly bruised and swollen. “I don’t think I can walk on it,” she added.

Even though Alix faces physical difficulties while learning ballroom dancing, she’s encouraged by the support of her boyfriend, NFL player Braxton Berrios.

I’m always checking in with everyone after a big premiere, and after the season 24 launch on September 16th, I finally connected with him – well, through text, anyway! He actually sent me a screenshot proving he voted for me, and honestly, that was the best part. It’s always good to know you have support!

Alix added, “He’s very sweet and always supportive, so [I’m] excited to talk to him later.”

For Alix Earle, dipping her toes in the Dancing With the Stars world came at a price.

As someone who keeps a close eye on all things lifestyle and entertainment, I’ve been following the latest from this season of ‘Dancing with the Stars.’ I recently learned that one of the contestants – she’s paired with Val Chmerkovskiy this season – unfortunately suffered some injuries during rehearsals. It’s always tough to hear about setbacks like that when people are working so hard to prepare for the show!

In a TikTok video posted on September 21st, Alix revealed she had bruises on her collarbones and lost a toenail during practice.

She was 24 and indicated her knee, explaining it was badly bruised and swollen. “I don’t think I can walk on it,” she added.

Alix had a tough first week on *Dancing with the Stars*, despite earning a score of 13 out of 20 on the September 16th premiere, and she’s still pushing herself to improve.

She admitted the first week of rehearsals was challenging, especially with the Cha-Cha set to Britney Spears’ “Circus.” There were some dance moves she was struggling with, but she was determined to practice and master them by the following Tuesday.

Oh my gosh, before the double elimination on September 23rd, she *finally* let slip how she was really feeling! She admitted she was starting to doubt herself, which totally broke my heart, but she said she’d keep fighting. And then… then she said she felt like she was literally breaking her knees! I just… I can’t even imagine the pain she was pushing through. It was so raw and real, and honestly, it just makes me love her even more.

Even though Alix faces physical difficulties while pursuing ballroom dancing, she’s encouraged by the support of her boyfriend, NFL player Braxton Berrios.

After her first performance on *Dancing with the Stars*, the TikToker told *TopMob News*’ Will Marfuggi that she hadn’t had time to speak with him yet. However, he did send her a screenshot proving he’d voted for her, which she said was ‘the most important’ thing.

Alix added, “He’s very sweet and always supportive, so [I’m] excited to talk to him later.”

Braxton publicly supported his girlfriend of two years, playfully posting on Instagram that his presence at the polls was unwelcome. He also shared a video of Alix’s introductory package from *Dancing With the Stars*, enthusiastically cheering her on with a simple, “Let’s go!”
