In *Hollow Knight: Silksong*, you’ll find many locked doors blocking your way. To open them, you’ll need to find keys hidden throughout Pharloom – some are held by shopkeepers or enemies.
This guide provides a complete list of all important items and Simple Keys in *Hollow Knight: Silksong*, along with where to find them.
Architect’s Key
Rotary key of the Architects. Opens their Chapel in the Underworks.
Use this key, given to you by the Twelfth Architect, to find the Architect in the Underworks. There, you’ll discover the Architect’s Crest.
Bellhome Key
Key to a restored bell above Bellhart.
Finish all the tasks related to the Bellhart donation, and then talk to Pavo until you’ve exhausted all conversation options. Once you’ve done both, he’ll give you the key to Hornet’s new house, which is located in Bellhart.
Diving Bell Key
Small worker’s key. Unlocks the door to the diving bell in Deep Docks.
To get to the diving bell in Deep Docks – and ultimately reach The Abyss – you’ll need to unlock Act 3 first. Once you do, go back to the last bench you saved at and find Ballow. He’s moved to a spot right above the diving bell.
Simple Key #1
Rusted key of common design. Can be used to open a range of simple locks.
Degraded by time, it will break after a single use.
The earliest Simple Key can be simply purchased from Pebb in Bone Bottom for a steep 500 Rosaries.
Simple Key #2
Okay, so I found another way to get a key! You can buy one from Jubilana, but you have to unlock her shop first. You do that by finishing the “Wandering Merchant” wish for her. Her shop is located in Songclave, specifically in the Choral Chambers. It’s a bit of a walk, but definitely worth it if you need a key!
Simple Key #3
You’ll need to beat a Roachkeeper to get this key. You can find it at the very top of the tallest shaft in Sinner’s Road.
Simple Key #4
The final Simple Key is found at the very end of Sands of Karak. You’ll need the Clawline ability to break the hidden wall at the top of the tall shaft close to the Pinstress.
Surgeon’s Key
Discarded key of the Whiteward. Opens the sluice beneath the operating theatre.
To reach the Unravelled boss in the bottom left of Whiteward, you’ll need a key. This key is found on a corpse in the top right of the same area, but you’ll need the Clawline ability to get there.
Key Of Indolent
Key with the mark of ‘Indolent’. Opens the way to certain cells and passages of the Slab.
The Key of Indolent, one of just two keys hidden in The Slab, is found on the left side, roughly halfway through a dead-end passage. To find it, turn left when you see Grindle beyond a locked door.
The Key of Indolent opens up three doors in The Slab for further exploration.
White Key
Finely crafted metal key, shaped to resemble a surgical implement.
Grants access to the Citadel’s Whiteward.
This key, obtained from Jubilana, opens the way to the Citadel’s Whiteward. You can find it for free in the Choral Chambers – it appears on a corpse – but only if you haven’t finished the quest “The Wandering Merchant” yet.
Those are all of the unique keys and Simple Keys to be found in Hollow Knight: Silksong.
