Kate Gosselin Reveals She’s Had a Boyfriend for Over a Year

Kate Gosselin has found her new plus one. 

Kate Gosselin, known from the show *Jon & Kate Plus 8*, has revealed she’s been dating someone for a while now.

Kate revealed in a TikTok Q&A on September 22nd that she’s been dating someone for just over a year-around 14 or 15 months.

The 50-year-old, who was married to Jon Gosselin for a decade, is now very happy in a new relationship. She shared that she’s been with her new partner for quite some time.

Kate’s boyfriend, who she hasn’t identified, prefers to keep their relationship private.

She admitted he wasn’t enthusiastic about being on TikTok. She understood why, but suggested viewers might occasionally see him in the background or briefly featured in videos from time to time.

Ever since she and Jon split up back in 2009 – and honestly, it broke my heart, especially for the kids! – everyone’s been obsessed with who she’s dating. It’s understandable, I guess, with all those beautiful children to think about. Mady and Cara, her amazing twins who are practically grown now, and then the little ones – Alexis, Hannah, Leah, Collin, Aaden, and Joel – all those sweet sextuplets! I just want her to be happy, and people are always digging into her personal life.

The TV personality also received assistance with dating through her 2019 TLC reality show, *Kate Plus Date*. On the show, she worked with relationship professionals to help her find a suitable partner.

Oh my gosh, Kate is just…amazing. And honestly, she’s been so open about wanting to find someone! You remember all the talk about Steve Neild, her bodyguard? Everyone thought *that* was it! Then there was Jeff Prescott, the businessman… she’s dated some really interesting people. But she’s always said how she’s hoping for a connection, especially now that her kids are grown and living their own lives. It’s so sweet, and I’m just rooting for her to find happiness!

In a 2023 interview with *People* magazine, she admitted she wasn’t ruling anything out. She explained she wasn’t sure how she’d feel being alone all the time, and wondered if she might eventually become lonely.

At the time, the TLC star admitted that she likes to “stay to myself.”

I’ve said this a lot, and I know it’s repetitive, but I’m just not the type to meet people by going out to bars or clubs. So, it’s unlikely I’ll meet anyone that way.

Hannah celebrated her birthday with her dad and his fiancée Stephanie Lebo.

For Mother’s Day 2024, Kate posted a heartfelt message honoring four of her sextuplets – Alexis, Aaden, Joel, and Leah – just two days after they celebrated their 20th birthdays.

She celebrated her children turning twenty with an Instagram post, writing, “No more teenagers in the house!” She affectionately called them her “forever babies” and playfully admitted to feeling old, adding the hashtags #20yearsold and #ItsaPICKLE.

Hannah shared new pics of herself on her and the other sextuplet’s 20th birthday.

On to the next chapter! The sextuplet graduated from high school in 2023.

Jon posted a photo of his children, Collin and Hannah-who are sextuplets-graduating high school in 2023. They had been living with him for several years prior to this milestone.

In 2022, Jon posted on Instagram wishing his child a happy 18th birthday. He wrote, “Today we’re celebrating your birthday, and I want everyone to know how much I love you.” He signed the message, “Love, Dad.”

Kate recently shared that the celebrations for her children’s fifteenth birthday have come to an end. The day began with a surprise gift at 6:30 am before school! She expressed how quickly time has flown, saying she’s incredibly thankful and amazed by her ‘babies’ as they grow into young adults. Kate is proud of the kind and positive people they are becoming.

In a 2018 Instagram post, Kate expressed how quickly time flies, saying, ‘This was yesterday! Feels like school never ended…and they’re already back!’ She added the hashtags #SeniorYear, #EighthGrade, and #ProudMom.

 

Jon Gosselin wished Hannah, Collin, Alexis, Aaden, Joel, and Leah a happy 15th birthday on Instagram. Posting a photo with Hannah and Collin, he expressed how quickly time has passed and shared his love for them. He wished them the best birthday ever, both today and throughout the weekend, signing the message ‘Love always, Dad’.

Kate shared a funny and heartwarming exchange she had with her daughters. They were excitedly counting down the days until their 14th birthdays, and one of them pointed out it was only 12 days away! Kate jokingly told her daughter Leah she was too young to be turning 14, and Leah playfully questioned if she might actually be turning 11 or 12 instead. Kate reassured them both, reminding them she was there when they were born and that they would always be her ‘babies,’ expressing her deep love for them.

In 2014, Kate took her twin daughters, Cara and Mady Gosselin, on a trip to New York City, including a visit to a Manhattan hotel.

Kate Gosselin shared a sweet Christmas memory on Instagram, posting a throwback photo from Christmas Eve 2010 when her six children were all six years old. She described them as incredibly excited and highlighted their adorable smiles, adding hashtags like #TheyAreMyHeart and #My8ReasonsToKeepOnKeepingOn to express her love for them.
