Beavis And Butt-Head Brings Back Classic Character (And He Might Wish They Hadn’t)

The third season of *Beavis and Butt-head* isn’t just a return to the classic show; it’s also exploring what happens to Beavis and Butt-head in the future. Earlier in the season, the character Todd reappeared and caused trouble for the older versions of Beavis and Butt-head by involving them in his plumbing work. In a recent episode, the duo visits someone from their past, giving fans an update on what that character has been doing since we last saw them in the revival.

Just a heads-up: if you haven’t watched the new *Beavis and Butt-head* episode called “Bike,” be aware that I’m about to share some spoilers. Earlier in the revival, we saw Stuart return as an adult in the episode “Kidney,” and he was surprisingly eager to donate a kidney to Beavis. Now, in the newest episode, Butt-head tells Beavis that Stuart wrecked his old bike. They go to confront him, and find that Stuart has actually done pretty well for himself. Unfortunately for him, he still really wants Beavis and Butt-head to like him, and things quickly go downhill because of it.

Stuart Ruins His Life Once Again

Stuart is overjoyed to see Beavis and Butt-head, immediately offering them stuffed bears. However, Beavis is furious about his old bike being ruined and wants to confront Stuart. We also meet Stuart’s wife, Katelyn, and briefly see photos of their three sons. In a funny turn of events, Stuart tells Beavis that Butt-head actually wrecked the bike, which leads to Beavis and Butt-head trashing Stuart’s house.

After Beavis and Butt-head trash their apartment, Stuart tries to smooth things over, but Butt-head just dismisses him. Although it wasn’t directly stated, Stuart and Katelyn’s relationship clearly suffered, with Stuart desperately trying to excuse the behavior of his friends. Given how much of an impact Stuart has already had on the show, it’s likely we’ll see him reappear in future storylines, both in the past and future versions of the characters.

We’ve watched the entire third season of the *Beavis and Butt-Head* revival and gave it a 4 out of 5 star rating in our review. We noted that the show remains a consistently funny, self-contained episodic comedy. Each episode tells a complete story, resetting the characters for the next one. Despite being a classic cartoon, the creators have clearly put in the effort to keep it entertaining for a modern audience, which is impressive after all these years. It feels like the show is just hitting its stride.
