This could have been attributed to mere chance or destiny, but another catastrophe confirmed her unusual circumstances. On a flight to Florida with her son and his family, the plane crashed. Once again, Granny Smite miraculously survived while everyone else on board perished.

In essence, Granny Smite discovered she’s both immortal and incapable of being harmed. However, this doesn’t prevent her from growing older in appearance. The implications for her future are uncertain, but they don’t seem to promise a bright outlook. Considering the hardships she’s endured, it’s hardly surprising that Granny Smite yearns for death.

Granny Smite undeniably embodies the essence and spirit of X-Factor. Her courage, which never wavers, often leads to their success in multiple missions. From leaping into space to charging at wall-mounted turrets, nothing deters Granny. The only thing that might keep her away is the idea of being entombed alive forever, but under those circumstances, it’s understandable.

In a delicate balance, Granny Smite’s tale carries a deep, somber hue, yet it gleams with a golden heart. She embodies the quintessential grandmother figure without a doubt. As we watch Xyber grapple with his panic attacks, one can almost sense her empathetic pain. It’s evident that she yearns to aid him more, but this strange new world leaves her uncertain about the right path to take.

In summary, Granny Smite’s limited knowledge within the X-Men universe has led to some amusing incidents. For example, when she jokingly revealed to Beast that her power was immortality, it resulted in an incredibly iconic shutdown. Her humor might remind you of Deadpool’s, and there is a certain level of truth to that comparison. However, Granny Smite combines comedy and darkness in unique ways, though forecasting her future actions can be quite challenging.
