Millie Bobby Brown is eyeing her next big role amid her motherhood journey.

Millie Bobby Brown, known for her role in *Stranger Things*, is close to signing on to play Olympic gymnast Kerri Strug in a new movie called *Perfect*. The film will tell the story of the 1996 U.S. women’s gymnastics team. This news comes shortly after Brown and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, adopted a baby girl this summer.

Joining the negotiations is Gia Coppola, a member of the famous Coppola family. She’s the granddaughter of legendary director Francis Ford Coppola and the niece of Sofia Coppola.

Millie has always dreamed of balancing a successful career with raising a family. Earlier this year, she explained that she’s eager to build her career as both an actor and a producer, while also wanting to start a family.

She mentioned on the *Smartless* podcast in March that Jake understands how much this means to her. She also noted that, like him – who is the son of Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Hurley – they both come from families with four children. She added, “It’s definitely something we’ll do in the future.”

And for the 21-year-old, adoption will always be on the table.

She believes raising a child, whether biological or adopted, is essentially the same. She feels her home is simply a loving environment for anyone who needs it.

Jake, who she married in 2024, is on the same page as well.

Jake and I really try to create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere in our home, where everyone feels like they can come and go as they please,” Millie explained.

Plus, the couple are also parents to a team of farm animals.

“My house is full of noise and a bit of a mess, and my dogs are wild!” Millie Bobby Brown told Vanity Fair in March. “But it’s also filled with laughter, energy, and a lot of love. It’s chaotic, and that’s exactly how I like it.”
