Silent Hill F is trying something new for the series, with more action and gameplay similar to role-playing games. It’s unclear if Konami considers this a core Silent Hill game or a side story.
The game has received very positive early reviews and appears to be a hit with those who’ve purchased early access. It will be fascinating to see how opinions develop over the next few weeks and months as more players experience it.

Okay, so despite a few technical hiccups, this game really feels like a fresh start for Silent Hill. If you can look past the issues, it’s honestly one of the most gripping and intense things I’ve played on the PS5. I’d give it a solid 7 out of 10 – it’s good, but not perfect.
