Christine Brown is sharing the reality of her weight loss journey.
The reality TV star from *Sister Wives* shared before-and-after photos showing her 40-pound weight loss.
Although she stated she hadn’t used weight loss injections to get in shape, she expressed support for anyone who chose to use them.
In a recent Instagram post on September 24th, she expressed her support for weight loss shots, saying they’re helping many women achieve their goals.
Despite ending her marriage to Kody Brown in 2021, the 53-year-old warned her followers that they might experience side effects from the injections, such as slow digestion and fatigue.
Recently, Christine Brown has been open about more than just her appearance. In her new memoir, *Sister Wife: A Memoir of Faith, Family, and Finding Freedom*, she shared details about her difficult relationship with former sister wife Meri Brown, explaining that Meri frequently criticized her appearance, intelligence, and how she raised her children.
Christine explained in her recently released book that she worried the other person wouldn’t treat her well, especially when others were around. She recalled instances where the person made hurtful comments about her directly to her, even while with her family.
Christine also claimed that Meri, 54, was much harder on her and Janelle Brown than she was on herself. (Kody’s marriages to both Meri and Janelle, 56, are now over, but he is still married to Robyn Brown.)
Christine explained that despite having lots of strict rules – like how to fold towels – her mother would blast country music so loudly it could be heard everywhere in the house. It didn’t matter if someone was trying to sleep, including a baby, or if Janelle or she were trying to rest or spend quiet time with their children.
In the end, Christine explained that a major source of conflict with the other wives was simply how close they all lived to each other during their plural marriage.
You know, looking back, I realize not every close friendship is a ‘love at first sight’ kind of thing. It’s funny, because sometimes the quirks that bother us about people only become noticeable when we’re around them a lot. I’ve learned that often, it’s not that we *chose* our best friends, but rather the time we spend together that solidifies those bonds – and makes us accept, even cherish, those little annoyances!

Kody Brown once jokingly described meeting Robyn in 2009, saying she seemed like a typical soccer mom – she had a van, three kids, and was divorced. He initially thought she’d bring too much complication to his life. However, more than fifteen years later, they’re still together and have added two more children, Solomon and Ariella, to their family.
Robyn Brown expressed difficulty with the idea of bringing in new wives, feeling it would be disrespectful to those who had already left. In the December 2024 *Sister Wives: One on One* special, discussing Meri, Janelle, and Christine Brown’s departures, she explained that it felt like quickly moving on to someone new when previous relationships hadn’t worked out. She found this prospect ‘really, really hard’ and felt it lacked respect.
In January 2024, Meri announced on Instagram that she started dating Amos Andrews the October before, following her split from Kody announced a year earlier. However, just a month later, in February 2024, she confirmed on Instagram that she and Amos had broken up.
Christine found love with David Woolley, and quickly became close with his family. They made their relationship official on Valentine’s Day 2023, and Christine shared how David felt like her soulmate from the moment they connected. She described him as wonderful, kind, and a fantastic presence in her children’s and grandchildren’s lives, saying she never thought she’d find a love like theirs. Just two months later, David proposed. Christine told *People* magazine that David makes her feel like royalty and constantly tells her she’s beautiful, and that she’d never experienced such a fulfilling love. They were married on October 7, 2023, in Utah, and Christine expressed how blessed she was to marry her best friend.
Janelle Brown’s oldest daughter was the first of the 18 Brown children to get married. She wed Caleb Brush in an outdoor ceremony in Montana in 2016, which was filmed for TLC. Now, almost ten years later, they have four children: Axel, Evie, Josephine, and their newest addition, Emilia, who was born in March 2025.
Maddie, from North Carolina, shared on Instagram that her daughter kept everyone waiting, but once she was ready, she arrived quickly and perfectly on March 14th.
Four years after their engagement was featured on the TLC reality show, Meri’s only child moved to Denver with Audrey Kriss.
In 2022, Leon lovingly called their partner their “sweetest symphony,” saying life with them was wonderful. Audrey shared that it had been a privilege and a joy to watch their partner grow and become themselves over the years.
Oh my gosh, Logan, the eldest Brown kid, finally got married! It was to Michelle Petty, and it happened in Arizona in 2022! I was practically glued to social media, and Janelle posted the sweetest thing on Instagram. She said it was a gorgeous day and that seeing Logan find someone so wonderful just filled her heart – she felt so peaceful! Honestly, it was everything a fan like me could hope for. They all seemed so happy to have the family back together for it!
I’ve been following Mykelti and Tony since their wedding back in 2016, and it’s been amazing to watch their family grow! She’s always so honest about what life is *really* like. She recently joked that welcoming twins, Archer and Ace, in November 2022 – on top of their oldest, Avalon – really put their marriage vows to the test! They’ve already moved four times, and she shared on Instagram how they’ve navigated all the good times and the tough ones. It’s so refreshing to see them still going strong and sharing their journey – it makes them so relatable!
Since getting married in 2018, Christine’s daughter and her husband, Mitch Thompson, have traveled extensively, visiting places like Paris and Alaska. In December 2022, they settled down and bought their first home, which Mitch announced on Instagram just in time for Christmas.
Aspyn announced her pregnancy with the couple’s first baby in April 2025.
Just before their one-year mark, Christine’s third daughter, Beatriz Queiroz, and her partner celebrated six months together with a trip to Disney World and a chocolate fondue treat. Later, in November 2022, Gwendlyn shared the exciting news on Instagram – a photo of a romantic, candlelit proposal filled with roses, with the simple caption, “i’m engaged!!” The couple then married in July 2023, announcing the happy occasion with a wedding photo and the caption: “Say hello to mrs (x2) Queiroz.”
