Season 16 of *Bob’s Burgers* premieres tonight on FOX’s Animation Domination, and it’s a special episode – the show’s 300th! *Bob’s Burgers* is a cornerstone of Fox’s animated comedy lineup, and has just been renewed for four more seasons, joining *The Simpsons* and *Family Guy*. The creators are promising a big celebration for this milestone episode, and there’s plenty more to come from the show!

The upcoming season 16 of *Bob’s Burgers* will begin with a special 300th episode called “Grand Pre-Pre-Pre-Opening.” Creator Loren Bouchard recently shared with TV Insider that the episode will show the very first day Bob’s Burgers opened its doors, and it will also be the day Tina was born. This combination will create a particularly challenging and memorable situation for Bob and Linda as they were just starting out with their restaurant.

Bouchard hinted that while Bob has always dreamed of owning a restaurant, Linda was the real force behind making it happen, providing the energy and positivity to push the project forward. Adding to the complexity, they were also expecting a baby. The show will explore the restaurant’s beginnings, featuring familiar faces like Teddy and Mort, but the journey to get there wasn’t simple.

I try to avoid flashbacks that simply highlight how clever we are by showing characters meeting for the first time-it can feel a bit self-indulgent. But we did use some of that approach because it felt natural for the story. For example, we showed how Bob and Linda met Tedd while hiring someone to help with their restaurant booths, and introduced their neighbor, Mort the mortician, at the same time. Ultimately, these moments all connect back to how Bob and Linda affect the people around them.

Bob’s Burgers Episode 300 Will Have That Emotion Fans Love

One of the best parts of the show is highlighting how even a small business, even when facing difficulties, can make a real difference. Everyone impacts others, and Bob and Linda are a great example of that – they touch so many lives, often without even realizing it. Sometimes they need a reminder of the positive influence they have. We love exploring how a simple moment, like enjoying a burger, can shape a person’s story, because those moments happen in real life, and it’s fun to connect those real-life possibilities to the characters we create. We’re essentially showing how connected everyone is, even people you only briefly encounter.
