As a big fan, I just heard that Terminator 2D: NO FATE has been delayed *again*. It was originally supposed to come out on October 31st, but now it’s scheduled for November 26th. I’m a little bummed about the wait, but I’m still really excited to play it! The good news is it’s coming to a lot of platforms – PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC through both Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Reef Entertainment announced the delay, explaining that it’s because of recent changes in global trade and tariffs which caused delays in shipping parts for our Day One and Collector’s Editions. They stated, “Because we want to release all versions at the same time,” this new launch date will apply to both the physical and digital versions of the game, everywhere in the world.”
Here is an overview of the game, via its official website:
About
Experience the action as both Sarah Connor and the T-800 in a series of exciting missions, battling the T-1000 and attempting to prevent Skynet from wiping out humanity. Step into the future and lead the Resistance as John Connor, fighting as the last hope for mankind in the War Against the Machines. This game features a fresh story that combines famous moments from Terminator 2: Judgment Day with new events and different possible outcomes – the future of humanity is in your hands.
As a huge fan of both the original movie and Bitmap Bureau’s games, I’m so excited about Terminator 2D: NO FATE! It takes the awesome action from the film and translates it into the fast-paced, addictive arcade gameplay they’re famous for. Plus, the pixel art looks absolutely gorgeous – it really captures the feel of classic arcade games. I’m expecting a lot of adrenaline with this one, and I can’t wait to play! You can find more details on their website.
