After Viral Emmy Speech, Kieran Culkin And His Wife Confirm They’re Pregnant Again With Adorable Photos

Like so many glamorous Hollywood nights, the 75th Emmys were full of stars and unexpected moments! I was especially captivated by Kieran Culkin‘s acceptance speech when he won Lead Actor for his incredible work in Succession. It reminded me of that hilarious, now-viral Emmys speech he gave about how his wife, Jazz Charton, promised him ‘more kids!’ Well, it turns out they’re making good on that promise! They’ve just announced they’re expecting again, and shared the sweetest photos. What wonderful news!

Following his announcement on TV, the Home Alone actor shared more details about why he publicly called out his wife and how he felt about it. Although he explained the situation started as a playful joke, the couple did confirm they are expecting their third child – they made the announcement while at the opening night of Waiting for Godot. The sweet parents-to-be, and their baby on the way, were a standout on the red carpet – see the happy couple below:

It sounds like a wonderful night when they finally announced their exciting news! They both looked incredibly happy and radiant after revealing they’re expecting a baby. It makes his heartfelt speech – where he mentioned everyone he cares about, including his family – even more charming and reminiscent of Kieran Culkin. And while this might have been his first time going viral at an awards show, it definitely won’t be the last!

Following consecutive Emmy wins for Succession in 2023 and 2022, Culkin earned significant recognition for his performance in Jesse Eisenberg’s A Real Pain. This led to a successful awards season, culminating in an Oscar win in 2025. Prior to that, a video of his acceptance speech at the National Board of Review Awards went viral. In the clip, the 42-year-old actor spit out his gum before speaking and playfully handed it to Eisenberg, who happily accepted it.

Okay, so I heard about this, and it’s amazing. Apparently, Kieran Culkin confessed to getting some actors high during a play, and Mark Ruffalo just shared the funniest story about it! He said that usually, when someone pretends to be high on stage, it’s all acting-but not this time. He was genuinely surprised, and honestly, I’m dying laughing just thinking about it. It’s a hilarious behind-the-scenes moment!

It goes without saying that Kieran Culkin is truly unique, whether he’s acting, at home, or expressing gratitude to his family and friends on stage. Luckily for fans of the Scott Pilgrim vs. the World actor, this honest and unfiltered approach isn’t a surprise. It’s simply part of who he is, and those who follow his work (including me!) appreciate that he consistently stays true to himself, even in projects like his recent Broadway performance in Glengarry Glen Ross.

Before the Culkin-Charton family grows to five, you can see the award-winning star in Solar Opposites next month (check the 2025 TV guide!), and later as a younger version of Stanley Tucci in Sunrise on the Reaping. It’s hard to imagine anything will be as charming or talked-about as the story of their third pregnancy, but only time will tell!

The 6th and last season of Solar Opposites will be released on October 13th for Hulu subscribers. You’ll be able to watch all episodes as soon as they’re available.
