Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have made a big little life change.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m sad to report that after 19 years of marriage, the Oscar winner and beloved country singer have decided to separate. Multiple sources are confirming that they’ve broken up. It’s always difficult to hear about a long-term relationship ending, and I wish them both the best as they navigate this new chapter.

According to a source who spoke with TMZ on September 19th, the couple-parents to daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14-have been separated and living apart “since the beginning of summer.”

TopMob News reached out to reps for Kidman and Urban for comment but has not heard back.

Approximately two months prior to the public announcement of their separation, TopMob discovered that Kidman had submitted an application to establish residency in Portugal.

Okay, so at first I totally panicked because Keith Urban’s name wasn’t on the list! I was freaking out, honestly. But then, someone who *knows things* – a source, you know? – told TopMob that it was just a scheduling thing. Like, he *wanted* to be there, but his schedule wouldn’t allow it. It’s such a relief! I mean, can you imagine if it was something else?

According to a source, Keith couldn’t attend the appointment in Portugal because he’s currently touring the U.S. The source also stated that applicants must be present in person to apply for the visa. He plans to submit his application when his tour schedule allows.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban got married in 2006 after dating for a year. Since then, they’ve openly shared how they maintain a strong relationship while raising their daughters, with the Big Little Lies actress saying their decision to move from Hollywood to Nashville has been a major factor in their success.

“I’m really connected to this place [Nashville],” Nicole shared with People magazine in 2019. “Our home is always lively with children. We often have as many as eight kids joining us for dinner after school. I feel incredibly thankful.”
