Publisher Reef Entertainment has revealed that its anticipated retro action game, Terminator 2D: No Fate, will be released at a later date. This marks another delay for the highly promising title.
The game, created by Bitmap Bureau, will now be released on November 29th, 2025- a delay of almost a month from when it was originally planned to launch.
The publisher released a short statement, outlining the reasoning behind the delay:
Hi everyone,
We’re excited to announce an update regarding the launch of Terminator 2D: NO FATE. The game is now scheduled to release on November 26, 2025.
We’re making a slight change to our release date because of disruptions in global trade and tariffs, which have caused delays in receiving the parts needed for our Day One and Collector’s Editions. To ensure all editions – both physical and digital – launch at the same time worldwide, this new date will apply to everything.
We really appreciate you being patient, and we apologize for the additional delay. Our team is working hard to ensure the wait is worthwhile, and we’re excited to share Terminator 2D: NO FATE with everyone this November.
Sincerely,
Reef Entertainment
So, as a big fan, I just found out the physical copies of the game are going to be delayed. Apparently, some parts needed for the physical editions haven’t arrived yet. Reef Entertainment wants everyone to be able to get the game at the same time, whether they prefer a physical copy or digital download, so they’ve pushed back the release date for everything to November. It’s a bit disappointing, but I totally get wanting a unified launch! I’m still really excited for it, and it’ll be worth the wait. You can find more info on their website.
I’m a little bummed about the delay, but honestly, it’ll probably be worth it. The trailers have always looked amazing, and I’m really excited to finally play it when it comes out in November. I’ve been waiting for this for a while, and I think it’s going to be great! You can find more information on their official website.
Terminator 2D: No Fate is basically a reimagining of Terminator 2, presented as a classic, retro-style side-scrolling action game. It features several characters you can play as and a story that goes beyond the original movie, so fans of the film are likely to enjoy it.
