During Paris Fashion Week on Oct. 1, as they arrived at the Tom Ford Womenswear Spring Summer 2026 show, the “All for You” singer, 59, and the 27-year-old daughter of her late brother Michael Jackson had a touching interaction.

I was so excited to be at the fashion show with my dear aunt Janet! As we got closer to the entrance, she just beamed, closing her eyes as she hugged Paris. It was such a sweet moment – Paris smiled back and looped her arm around Aunt Janet’s shoulder after their embrace. It really warmed my heart to see them together, they have such a special bond. Fashion shows are always better with family, and this was no exception!

For their outing, both women wore all-black ensembles. Janet chose a short-sleeved leather top paired with a long, flowing satin skirt, while Paris opted for a long-sleeved maxi dress featuring a high leg slit.

The singer of “Together Again” and the actress from Gringo were seen together publicly for the first time since Paris Fashion Week in 2022. Back then, they spent time together at an event in France, and Janet shared a photo with Paris on Instagram, writing, “So good catching up w/ my beautiful niece @parisjackson.”

Prior to that, Janet and Paris hadn’t been pictured together since the 2009 memorial service for Michael, who passed away that year at the age of 50. After the service, stories spread for years about a possible disagreement between the King of Pop’s daughter and her aunt. However, Paris clarified in 2018 that they had a good relationship. 

“Janet and I haven’t argued in over 6 years,” Paris posted on X (formerly Twitter) in July 2018. “Please stop spreading these silly rumors. I have nothing but love for my family, and they all know that. Get lost.”

About two months prior, Paris didn’t see Janet perform at the Billboard Music Awards. He responded to critics who interpreted his absence as proof of a disagreement between them.

Paris shared on her Instagram Story, “I will always love and respect my family. ALWAYS,” and added, “That’s all you need to know-nothing more, nothing less.”

Shannen passed away in July 2024 after a yearslong battle with cancer.

The two resolved their differences. However, some months later, Candace was questioned about whether the Great American Family network – where she is chief creative officer – plans to showcase same-sex couples as the main characters in its holiday films. She responded negatively, stating, “I think that Great American Family will keep traditional marriage at the core.”

On the very same day, news came out about a Fast and Furious spin-off film featuring Dwayne and Jason Statham which was scheduled to be released in 2019. Taylor and Katy were rivals for many years, and some believed their conflict even led to Taylor writing the song “Bad Blood.” The issues, which began with a disagreement over a dancer and competition during their concert tours, were resolved when Katy sent Taylor an actual olive branch as a peace offering before Taylor’s Reputation Tour began.
