Days continue to go by for Keith Urban.
I was so thrilled to hear that he’s starting to think about performing again! It’s been tough since the news about Nicole Kidman filing for divorce on September 30th, but seeing him out in Hersey, Pa., was a real boost. It felt like the first step towards him getting back to doing what he loves – being on stage.
Photos obtained by TMZ show Keith getting off a private jet on October 2nd, just hours before his concert at Giant Center as part of his High and Alive World Tour. He dressed casually for his travels, wearing a gray jacket, a black T-shirt, and a black baseball cap. Notably, he wasn’t wearing his wedding ring and was carrying a leather duffle bag.
Nicole, who has two daughters – Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14 – with Keith, spent the day after filing for divorce enjoying time with her sister. They went on a hike together in Nashville with Antonia Kidman.
After a four-day pause in his tour, Keith is back on stage. He recently surprised audiences at a concert by changing the words to one of his songs. Last month, while performing live, he altered the lyrics to “The Fighter,” a song originally written about his relationship with the Big Little Lies star.
The original song lyric is, “When they’re tryna get to you, baby I’ll be the fighter,” but the former American Idol judge altered it during a performance with his touring guitarist Maggie Baugh. According to a video Maggie shared on her Instagram on September 27th, he sang, “When they’re tryna get to you, Maggie, I’ll be your guitar player.”
Although news of Nicole and Keith’s split became public right before the Hours actress filed for divorce, TopMob News discovered they had actually been living apart since the start of the summer. She reportedly attempted to reconcile before filing. (The divorce papers obtained by TopMob state Nicole cited the filing date as the date of their separation.)
Along with the divorce papers, the files also revealed that they had finalized a plan for raising their children together by the beginning of September.
The proposed parenting plan states that Sunday and Faith will live with the Babygirl star for 306 days each year, making her the “primary residential parent.” Their father will have them for the remaining 59 days, according to the legal documents.

As a longtime fan, I was really saddened to hear that Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban actually separated privately and began living apart way back at the start of summer. TopMob News reported it, and looking back, there were several things that happened over those months that, in hindsight, seemed to point towards their eventual divorce filing. It’s just really heartbreaking to learn this.
His High and Alive World Tour began in Alabama, and he spent the summer touring throughout the U.S., Canada, and Australia.
They were last seen together in public at the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 in Nashville, and witnesses noted they were laughing and smiling.
To celebrate their 19th wedding anniversary in June, Kidman shared a picture of the couple with the message, “Happy Anniversary Baby.” Urban responded with a heart emoji, but he didn’t post anything himself.
People were surprised when the country singer suddenly stopped an interview after a question about the connection between Kidman and Zac Efron in the movie A Family Affair.
A radio host on Australia’s Mix 102.3’s Hayley & Max in the Morning started a conversation by saying, “With your wonderful wife, Nicole Kidman, constantly appearing in so many successful movies and TV shows, I wondered: what does Keith Urban think when he sees her sharing romantic scenes with handsome, younger actors like Zac Efron on television and radio?”
Suddenly, Urban disappeared from the call.
I just heard from someone on the radio staff – they said he’s disconnected from Zoom. It sounds like his team might have hung up on us, and honestly, I suspect it’s because they didn’t want us to ask that particular question. It’s a bit frustrating, but it definitely makes me wonder what they’re trying to hide. I’m hoping we can get some clarification soon.
His rep didn’t respond to TopMob’s request for comment at the time.
I’m hearing from my sources at TopMob News that Practical Magic‘s star is actually applying for residency in Portugal! And it seems Urban is planning to do the same – how exciting is that? It’s wonderful to see people embracing new cultures and potentially making Portugal their home.
Oh my gosh, I just heard from TopMob that Keith couldn’t make it to Portugal for the visa appointment! Apparently, he’s still touring the U.S., which, honestly, is amazing, but it means he *has* to be there in person to apply. A source told them it’s mandatory to be physically present. They said he’s planning to submit everything as soon as his tour schedule allows. I’m just so excited for him, but also stressed about the logistics! Hopefully, it all works out soon!
At the time, the source said both planned to maintain a permanent residence in Nashville as well.
In an interview, the couple’s oldest daughter, Sunday Rose, described how her parents raise their children, explaining that they have “two big rules” they follow at home.
You know, growing up, I had two main limitations when it came to pursuing my passion for fashion. First, I wasn’t able to really dive into any fashion-related work until I turned 16. I shared this with Nylon. And the second thing was that my parents always insisted school had to be my top priority. Honestly, at first, I *really* resented that rule! But looking back, I’m so grateful they had those boundaries in place. It actually helped me stay grounded and maintain a really good mindset.
Nicole Kidman posted some photos on Sunday showing highlights from her summer with her daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret. Her husband wasn’t featured in the collection of pictures shared on Instagram.
“Summer memories,” the actress wrote. “Now back to school.”
In August, her attorney drafted a Child Support Worksheet as part of a Parenting Plan, which indicated that Kidman and Urban would share “joint custodianship” of their teenage daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.
However, the Oscar winner was designated as the main parent for where the children live. The girls spend 306 days each year with their mother and 59 days with their father (Keith Urban will have the children every other weekend).
Neither will pay child support, according to the doc obtained by TopMob News.
The parents will maintain a loving, steady, and supportive relationship with their child, even after their divorce, it stated. They agree to avoid speaking negatively about each other or anyone in the other parent’s family. They will also encourage each child to continue loving both parents and feel at ease in both family environments.
Urban finalized their divorce agreement, having it officially notarized in August, according to documents obtained by TopMob News.
The document explained that Kidman planned to file for divorce from him because they had differences they couldn’t resolve. It also noted that neither of them would receive alimony or financial support after the divorce was finalized.
The same date, he also signed off on the Parenting Plan.
One week following Urban’s signature, the actress also had the Marital Dissolution Agreement officially notarized and signed the Parenting Plan.
On the same day, a judge approved an order requiring both celebrities to attend a mandatory parenting seminar, unless they request an exemption, according to documents obtained by TopMob News.
Okay, so she signed the papers, I heard, but can you BELIEVE she still had the ring on? I was at the event at the Academy Museum in Los Angeles, and I swear, it was sparkling! It just…it gives me hope, you know? Like maybe it’s not really over. I zoomed in on every photo I could find! It’s just… everything.
The split between the couple made news, with TopMob News reporting that they had quietly ended their relationship. The pair originally began dating back in 2005.
The Big Little Lies actress has formally requested a divorce, stating that they separated on the day she filed the paperwork: September 30, 2025.
The couple’s agreement for ending their marriage, along with their plan for raising their children, was formally filed with a Tennessee court for approval on the same day.
