Star Wars Is About to Allow One Jedi to Surpass Anakin & Luke Skywalker

The idea of ‘The Chosen One’ is a common theme in movies, and Denis Villeneuve’s *Dune* films are currently exploring it. Although the predictions about Paul Atreides aren’t entirely truthful, even the most doubtful characters can’t dismiss the evidence suggesting he’s special. This immense pressure is pushing Paul towards a dangerous path. His eventual fall from grace is drawing comparisons to Anakin Skywalker from *Star Wars*, another character destined for greatness who simply wants to fulfill the expectations placed upon him. However, powerful and malicious forces are actively manipulating Anakin, corrupting him from within. Ultimately, only his son, Luke Skywalker, can reach him and offer a chance at redemption.

Both Luke and Anakin Skywalker played key roles in defeating Emperor Palpatine and ending his oppressive rule. Though it was a difficult fight, their immense power in the Force helped them succeed. While they’re both considered among the greatest Jedi ever, a new Jedi is training and may one day surpass them.

Ahsoka Tano Is About to Reach Her Full Potential

Ahsoka Tano left the Jedi Order after being falsely accused of bombing the Jedi Temple. Feeling stifled by their strict rules and quick judgments, she decided to forge her own path. Though she believed leaving was the right decision, she deeply regretted not being there for Anakin Skywalker during the events of *Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith*. Knowing she could have helped, she’s driven to confront Darth Vader, the one responsible for her master’s death. In *Star Wars Rebels*, they clash in a powerful battle where Ahsoka seemingly loses her life. Fortunately, a mystical realm called the World Between Worlds gives her a second chance, which she fully embraces.

Following the Empire’s defeat, Ahsoka is determined to find her friend Ezra Bridger and defeat the dangerous Grand Admiral Thrawn. The search takes time, but once she gets close, she relentlessly pursues them. However, she rushes into things and almost loses her life fighting Baylan Skoll. Luckily, a mysterious force intervenes and shows her something incredible: the spirit of her former master, Anakin Skywalker. Anakin helps Ahsoka understand what it takes to keep fighting before leaving her to continue her journey. But he’s expected to return in season two of *Star Wars: Ahsoka* to continue mentoring her.

Ahsoka Is Getting More Shine Than Luke Skywalker

Anakin sharing his knowledge with Ahsoka will help her reach her full potential and become as powerful a Jedi as he was. After that, the goal would be for her to become even more skilled than Luke Skywalker, who is widely considered the most powerful Force user in the Star Wars universe. We see glimpses of Luke’s abilities in *The Mandalorian*, where he easily defeats challenging enemies, and in other Star Wars comics and games. However, much of Luke’s story after *Return of the Jedi* remains mysterious, as the franchise hasn’t fully revealed his later adventures in live-action, where stories tend to have the biggest impact on fans.

I’m really excited to see what happens with Ahsoka in her own series! It seems like Season 2 will focus a lot on her training – not just getting stronger herself, but also helping Sabine Wren become a true Jedi. Honestly, by the end of it, I think Ahsoka could be an even more complete warrior than Luke or Anakin ever were. It’s not necessarily about being more powerful with the Force or a better duelist, but she’s had so much time to learn and grow, and I think that experience will make her truly unstoppable.
