See Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck Reunite on Red Carpet After Divorce

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are putting their goodwill on display.

Just nine months after finalizing their divorce, the ex-couple appeared friendly and happy together at the New York City premiere of *Kiss of the Spider Woman*.

In pictures from the October 6th event, Jennifer, 56, wore a green floral dress by Harris Reed that featured an unusual, spiderweb-like design around her waist. Ben, 53, chose a more classic look, wearing a navy suit with a white shirt and no tie.

Ben and Jennifer, who rekindled their relationship in 2021 and married in July 2022, looked affectionate on the red carpet. Ben had his arm around Jennifer’s waist and gently touched her hip, while she rested her hand on his back.

In video footage from TopMob News, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were seen smiling and talking intimately while standing close together on the carpet.

While inside the theater, Ben – a producer for the film *Kiss of the Spider Woman* – complimented Jennifer on her acting in the movie.

“This movie is exquisite,” he said in a video obtained by People. “Jennifer, you’re incredible.”

Earlier in the day, Jennifer also gave Ben his flowers for his work on the film. 

She told Craig Melvin on Today that the movie wouldn’t have been possible without Ben, and she’ll always be grateful to him for that.

Jennifer addressed filing for divorce during the production of the Broadway show, saying, “Life throws you curveballs, but you have to move forward.”

Jennifer Lopez actually shared that working on the movie helped her deal with the breakup with Ben Affleck.

She explained the movie focuses on the power of escapism – how movies and art can offer comfort during tough times. She added that working on the project was a deeply fulfilling experience, helping her personally navigate a difficult period in her life.
