The third season of the series will conclude this October, becoming available on various streaming services. The new episodes, featuring Saitama’s continued search for a worthy opponent, will premiere in the US on October 12th.
Despite a disappointing second season, *One Punch Man* Season 3 is still a highly anticipated anime coming in Fall 2025. The show is a funny take on the superhero genre, centering around Saitama, a hero so strong he defeats enemies with a single punch. Fans are both excited and worried about the new season, given past issues with the series’ production, but there’s hope that Season 3 could be the best one yet.
When Does One Punch Man Season 3 Come Out?
It’s highly likely Saitama has consistently done his daily 100 push-ups, sit-ups, and squats for the last six years, meaning he’ll be even stronger in the upcoming season. One Punch Man Season 3 will premiere on Hulu in the U.S. on October 12th at 11:15 AM EST (8:15 AM PT). Fans in Canada can watch on Disney+, while Netflix will stream the new season in Latin America, Australia, and New Zealand. Crunchyroll will also offer Season 3 in Latin America and Oceania.
The latest release is great news for fans of the series, as it will make it available to a wider audience. Season 3 promises an exciting new storyline, adapting the Monster Association Arc. This arc features a massive battle between the newly formed Monster Association and the Hero Association. We’ll also see more of the character Garou, and learn more about his motivations leading up to a major fight from the original manga.
One Punch Man Season 3 Might Actually Be Better Than Fans Expect
The *One Punch Man* anime hasn’t had an easy time lately. It’s been six years since Season 2 aired in April 2019, and fans weren’t very impressed with it. Like other disappointing sequels, such as Season 2 of *Blue Lock* and Season 3 of *Seven Deadly Sins*, *One Punch Man* Season 2 suffered a drop in quality. This was mainly due to a change in which animation studio worked on the show.
I noticed a real difference in the animation between the first and second seasons of *One Punch Man*. The first season was done by Madhouse, a studio famous for shows like *Hunter x Hunter* and *Death Note*. Then, for Season 2, the work went to J.C. Staff, who’ve been around for 40 years and created a lot of popular series – things like *Revolutionary Girl Utena*, *A Certain Magical Index*, and *The Disastrous Life of Saiki K*. But honestly, J.C. Staff’s version just didn’t feel the same. The action scenes didn’t have the same impact or energy as the fights in Season 1; they lacked that special something.
Concerns about the upcoming season of *One Punch Man* grew after the release of recent trailers and promotional materials, which hinted at a repeat of the issues that plagued Season 2. Promotion has been minimal, and the new director, Shinpei Nagai, openly admitted his lack of experience and decided to keep his involvement quiet, anticipating a negative reaction from fans.
Honestly, despite a lot of worries from fans, Season 3 of *One Punch Man* might actually be surprisingly good. It looks like they’re trying to reach more people by releasing it on several streaming services, and the new trailer that came out on October 3rd showed off some exciting new animation. From what I’ve seen, it’s definitely a step up from the first trailer!
The first real trailer for *One Punch Man* Season 3 is finally here, and I’m relieved to see the animation looks noticeably improved compared to Season 2. It’s a basic improvement, but it’s a start! However, since we didn’t see any actual action, it’s hard to get too excited just yet. Still, *One Punch Man* fans won’t have to wait much longer to find out if Season 3 has moved beyond the infamous ‘One Frame Man’ status and is actually showing more than just a few animated frames.
