Nicole Kidman Shares She Was “Nervous” for Latest Public Appearance

Nicole Kidman’s appearance during Paris Fashion Week was practically magic.

The actress, known for winning an Academy Award, recently debuted a new haircut – bangs – following her split from her husband. Despite the bold new look, she confessed to feeling nervous attending the Chanel Womenswear Spring/Summer 2026 show on October 6th, just a week after filing for divorce from Keith Urban. She was accompanied by her daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.

Nicole admitted she was quite nervous, telling *Vogue* in a behind-the-scenes video that she was bringing her daughters with her to the event. However, she also expressed excitement for designer Matthieu Blazy, calling this a significant moment in his career.

The 58-year-old, who is also returning as a Chanel ambassador, was delighted for her friend, the new creative director of the French fashion house. She said it was “exciting” to celebrate his first show with Chanel and the start of what promises to be an amazing partnership.

Following the show, which featured stars like Ayo Edebiri, Margot Robbie, Penélope Cruz, Pedro Pascal, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus in the front row, Nicole celebrated by showing off her fresh haircut and outfit. She wore cashmere Chanel jeans and a white button-down shirt to the runway presentation.

She expressed her gratitude to Chanel for inviting her and her friends to the fashion show, sharing photos on Instagram. The pictures included shots with director Baz Luhrmann and model Vanessa Paradis. She also mentioned being thrilled to collaborate with Matthieu Blazy.

Nicole’s daughters added a family touch to the Chanel event. Sunday wore casual denim jeans and a red sweater, and Faith paired a denim jacket with a sparkly black dress.

It felt like a family reunion for the mother and daughter. Sunday had been in Europe for several days, having walked the runway at the Christian Dior Womenswear Spring/Summer 2026 show on October 1st, just one day after her mother, Nicole, filed for divorce in Tennessee.
