Forget a trim, Amal Clooney is embracing a chop.
The human rights lawyer showed off a beautiful new haircut for fall, styled by her favorite stylist, Dimitris Giannetos.
Stylist Dimitris shared a photo of Amal Clooney’s new hairstyle on Instagram on October 7th. He created a voluminous “bubble blowout” – sleek at the roots but full and dramatic overall. He also trimmed her hair to just below her collarbone and added soft waves for a polished finish.
Amal has always had thick hair, and Dimitris believed a small trim would make it look even fuller and more textured.
He described his recent hairstyle as a “power cut” and told *Vogue* that he trimmed six to eight inches off his hair. He added that this was a completely new look for his wife, Amal.
The haircut wasn’t the only change she made. The activist, who has 8-year-old twins, Alexander and Ella, with her husband George Clooney, also changed her hair color. She darkened her usual brown shade but added warmer, “toasted almond” highlights around her face to keep her look soft and gentle, according to her stylist Dimitris.
Amal debuted her new mocha-colored hair on October 3rd at The Albies, the annual fundraiser she and George host to celebrate human rights advocates, in London. She paired her fresh autumn look with a chocolate brown dress and gold jewelry, while George wore a classic black tuxedo.
It’s not just Amal who’s changed her hairstyle recently. George Clooney also had a noticeable makeover when he brought his 2005 film, *Good Night, and Good Luck*, to Broadway in March. He traded his usual silver hair for a brown dye job, a look that neither he nor Amal particularly liked.
