Okay, so Atlus just had the one-year anniversary of Metaphor: ReFantazio, and honestly? I’m kinda relieved I didn’t pull an all-nighter to watch the 15-minute video they released. It sounds like it was a lot, and I’m happy I got some sleep!
Many fans were hoping for a major reveal – things like downloadable content, a deluxe version, or even a port to the next Nintendo Switch. However, all they received was a new digital version of the game.
The ‘Guidebook Edition’ will be released early next year and features the game’s official strategy guide, artwork, and music, all available digitally.

That strategy guide isn’t complete either – it’s a shorter, summarized version of the printed book.

The video includes heartfelt thank-you messages from the game developers and the English voice actors. It’s great to see this well-made game getting some extra attention.
