If you’re captivated by the allure of gloomy dystopias and mesmerized by the enigma of dark fantasy, then you’ll find yourself utterly enthralled with the freshly unveiled anime series – Gachiakuta!
Starting this July, the new series will only be available on Crunchyroll for viewing. The story revolves around our main character, Rudo Surebrec, who resides in the lower districts of a floating metropolis.
Following allegations that he murdered his father, Rudo is shunned by the upper echelons of society and unceremoniously deposited in “The Abyss” – a vast waste disposal area beneath the metropolis, where outlaws, unwanted individuals, and anything deemed worthless are abandoned to decay.
Fortunately, he’s quickly rescued by a team known as The Cleaners, who accept the task of fighting off the monstrous creatures inhabiting this polluted landscape.
Originally appearing in the Weekly Shonen Magazine by Kodansha in 2022, Gachiakuta now comprises a total of 140 published chapters.
