The final season of *My Hero Academia* recently featured a surprising turn of events. Despite a grim situation with All Might’s fight against All For One, fan-favorite Katsuki Bakugo has been brought back from defeat. Bakugo played a key role in the previous season, battling the main villain, Shigaraki, and demonstrating significant improvement in his abilities – even rivaling professional heroes. Unfortunately, Shigaraki’s strength proved too much, ultimately leading to Bakugo’s serious injury when Shigaraki damaged his heart.
Despite appearing to have perished, Bakugo was actually saved by Edgeshot’s Quirk, as revealed in the latest episode of *My Hero Academia*, “The End of an Era, and the Beginning.” He’s now back on his feet at a crucial moment – All Might is in grave danger, facing All For One. It’s clear Bakugo’s priority will be saving All Might, fulfilling the role of a hopeful symbol much like his idol once did. This will allow Bakugo to overcome the guilt he’s carried since his kidnapping during the third season of the anime.
Bakugo Will Redeem His Mistake By Saving All Might
Season 3 of *My Hero Academia*, which originally aired in 2018, ended with a dramatic rescue mission. Bakugo was kidnapped by the League of Villains, who thought his strong personality would make him a valuable member. The heroes fought back and successfully saved Bakugo, leading to an unforgettable battle between All Might and All For One. While All Might won, he lost his powers in the fight. The season concluded with Bakugo feeling responsible for All Might’s defeat and subsequent retirement.
Bakugo eventually confessed his feelings to Deku in a very emotional moment, but he felt alone even though he didn’t really do anything wrong. This event pushed both Deku and Bakugo to work harder and improve their abilities. Now, with his recent return to action, Bakugo represents a beacon of hope as he steps up to protect All Might, the “Symbol of Peace,” from the Demon Lord. By doing so, he hopes to find the peace he’s been searching for and make amends for a past mistake, finally feeling like he’s truly helping All Might.
The next episode’s preview shows Bakugo rescuing All Might from All For One, solidifying his important role in *My Hero Academia*. After believing he was killed by Shigaraki and hearing Shigaraki dismiss him as insignificant, Bakugo will now prove his worth. This rescue isn’t just about saving All Might; it’s about preventing All For One from fully controlling Shigaraki. It’s a perfect ending to Bakugo’s development as a key character, and a fitting conclusion crafted by Kohei Horikoshi.
Bakugo’s Match-Up Against All For One Signals the End of My Hero Academia
The upcoming fight between Bakugo and All For One is the last major conflict needed to wrap up the series’ final war. Now that All For One’s control over Shigaraki has been dealt with, Deku is free to focus on facing Shigaraki head-on. At the same time, other battles are unfolding: Todoroki and Ingenium are going after Dabi, and Uravity and Froppy seem to be managing the chaos caused by Toga using Twice’s abilities.
With just eleven episodes left, the major conflicts are nearing their resolution, and it looks like Bakugo’s battle against All For One will conclude first. We’ll also discover more about the Demon Lord’s backstory in an upcoming fight. But the biggest impact of recent events is that Bakugo will get the opportunity to save All Might, potentially correcting a past error and altering the grim future Nighteye predicted for him in a previous season of *My Hero Academia*.
