On October 13th, *Black Myth: Wukong* will receive an update, just a month after its release on Xbox Series X/S. The update includes standard bug fixes and improvements to performance. While the developers haven’t specified exactly what’s changed, they say it’s a significant amount.
The new update presents some mod compatibility challenges for PC players, but the biggest surprise is its massive size on PlayStation 5. Because of how the PS5 stores game files, you’ll need 93.5 GB of free space to install it. If that’s a problem, you can delete and re-download the game. The full list of changes will be available once the update is released, so check back for details.
Black Myth: Wukong is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. You can read our review of the Xbox Series X/S version here. The developers at Game Science are already planning their next game in the series, Black Myth: Zhong Kui. Although still in early stages, they’ve decided to build this new title from the ground up rather than create downloadable content for Wukong. Find out more details here.
