
Bandai Namco just announced a new playable character for *Dragon Ball FighterZ* at EVO France 2025! It’s Super Saiyan 4 Goku, but with a look inspired by the new *Dragon Ball Daima* series. He’ll be released in Spring 2026. You can watch the announcement trailer, but gameplay footage isn’t available yet.
A new update is now live! It introduces ‘Z Reflect,’ a feature for all characters except Videl. If you block a physical attack, the game briefly pauses, letting you use Vanish with temporary invincibility. The update also speeds up Ki Charge cancels, and makes Dragon Rush and Super Dash faster to execute.
The game has also received balance adjustments for individual characters – you can find a complete list of changes here. *Dragon Ball FighterZ* is currently available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch. The most recent downloadable character was Android 21 (Lab Coat), which was added in February 2022.
