Devolver Digital and Skeleton Crew Studio have announced that their tactical kung fu game, *Forestrike*, will be available on Switch and PC (via Steam) starting November 17th.
Here is an overview of the game, via its Steam page:
About
Forestrike is a tactical kung fu game where repetition is the key to success.
You play as Yu, a martial artist traveling the land to rescue the Emperor from a corrupt Admiral. You’ll learn skills from one of five different Masters, and each fight requires both smarts and skillful combat to overcome.
Yu faces many enemies on his journey to the capital, and he’s usually at a disadvantage. However, he has a special ability called Foresight. This technique lets him mentally replay battles in his mind, experimenting with different moves until he discovers a winning strategy to defeat even stronger opponents.
Okay, so our hero finally gets into the real action, and it’s intense! If he loses a fight, he has to start over, but thankfully, any progress he *has* made stays with him. He won’t always win without taking some damage, but the more he battles, the more powerful he becomes. It’s a tough journey, but he definitely gets stronger along the way!
