Inside Drake & Sophie Brussaux’s Lavish Party for 8-Year-Old Adonis

Drake is giving his son Adonis the best birthday he ever had.

Drake and his ex, Sophie Brussaux, came together to celebrate their son’s 8th birthday with a big, western-themed party, as seen in photos and videos posted online on October 12th.

The event had a fun cowboy theme, complete with “Wanted” posters and a spectacular three-layer birthday cake. The cake was decorated with fondant details like cow print, a lasso, cowboy boots, jeans, and a belt buckle shaped like a longhorn, as shown in a video shared on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The family matched in denim outfits for photos as Drake cut a beautifully decorated cake. Drake, 38, wore a dark vest with his denim look, and Sophie, 36, added a bold gold belt to hers. Their son, Adonis, kept it casual with a white t-shirt under an open shirt.

Drake celebrated his son’s birthday by posting a sweet and casual photo of Adonis on Instagram Stories, showing him playfully crouching and making a hand signal.

While Drake has mostly kept his son Adonis out of the public eye, he’s shared glimpses into fatherhood over the years, especially after discussing the early challenges of co-parenting with Sophie.

He shared that he’s a single dad trying to navigate a relationship with a woman they’ve had a complicated history with. Speaking on HBO’s *The Shop* in October 2018, he explained he wants to be able to explain the situation to his son someday, but his priority is ensuring his son continues to love and respect his mother, and that no one blames her for what happened.

Recently, Drake and his co-parent have developed a good relationship, and he reflected this in his music. In his 2021 song “Champagne Poetry,” he rapped about their progress, calling themselves “Co-parent of the year” and highlighting how well they communicate.

It was such a heartwarming moment back in December 2020! I saw a picture of Drake getting his son ready for the day, and it was just beautiful. His mom, Sandi Graham, was there watching, and it really felt like a special father-son connection. It honestly made my day!

I just loved seeing this sweet moment! Back in November 2020, Drake was photographed resting his head on his son’s shoulder – it was such a tender and heartwarming image. It really showed a softer side of him, and honestly, it’s a beautiful reminder of the bond between a father and his child.

As a lifestyle expert, I always say birthdays are a moment to cherish, and Drake definitely nailed it for his son Adonis’ third! It’s all about those little, heartfelt moments, isn’t it?
