Here is an overview of the game, via Top Hat Studios:
Embrace Your Inner Demon, or Be Consumed by It
In *Silly Polly Beast*, you’ll journey through a strange and terrifying underworld. You’ll battle enemies with intense gunfights, use stealth and cunning to outsmart them, solve challenging puzzles, team up with surprising characters, and even ride your skateboard as you explore.
Encounter Otherworldly Denizens
Let me tell you, the underworld is full of strange characters – some are helpful, some just…watch you, and none of them are automatically your friend. But honestly, through everything that happens down here, the one thing you *can’t* forget is why you came in the first place – that deal you made is what got you into this mess, and it’s always in the back of my mind.
Eclectic, Genre-Bending Gameplay
Silly Polly Beast offers a fresh and engaging gameplay style, combining open world exploration and clever puzzles with battles that change your perspective. As you play, Polly becomes more powerful in combat and a better skateboarder! The story unfolds with a variety of gameplay sections, including top-down and side-scrolling shooting, survival horror, and, of course, skateboarding. Learn powerful magic and search for the one person who truly matters: Alice.
