Howard Stern is sharing where he stands with Oprah Winfrey.
The radio personality, who used to criticize the media executive for flaunting her wealth, recently confessed he actually admires her.
During an October 10th interview on SiriusXM’s *Radio Andy* with Andy Cohen, the 71-year-old shared their admiration for Oprah, saying they enjoy watching and following her work.
Howard Stern says he still feels the same way about Oprah Winfrey’s spending habits and public display of wealth, even though he continues to follow her career and life.
Howard Stern mentioned that Oprah sometimes seems out of touch, possibly unintentionally displaying her wealth. He clarified he wasn’t criticizing her – everyone knows she’s successful – but felt it was insensitive given the large gap between the rich and those struggling financially.
“I don’t hate Oprah at all,” he added. “I think she’s brilliant.”
Look, things are calm on my side, but honestly, a sit-down with Oprah? I’m just not seeing that happening. She hasn’t really acknowledged any of this publicly, and frankly, I’m comfortable leaving it at that. Some conversations are best left unhad, you know?
He said he’s close to Gayle King, Oprah’s best friend. He recalled her once suggesting they all get together, but he advised her to clear it with Oprah first, saying, ‘Don’t surprise her with me.’
Alas, the sit-down was not meant to be.
Howard explained that Oprah refused to do an interview with him. He believes Oprah doesn’t see any benefit in speaking with him and jokingly suggested she continue to avoid him.
Howard is revisiting his criticism of the former talk show host, three years after first commenting on how she presents her life.
Howard Stern said on his SiriusXM radio show in November 2022, according to *Variety*, that following a certain person on Instagram is astonishing. He described seeing her properties, gardens, and the staff who maintain them, noting she has cooks and other servants. He found it remarkable how she displays her wealth, something he personally doesn’t agree with, believing people shouldn’t flaunt their riches.
Howard shared at the time that he didn’t enjoy watching Oprah, as he felt she wasn’t “self-aware.”
I’m financially comfortable, but I’m amazed when I see Oprah’s lifestyle. It’s incredible – she essentially has everything she needs right on her own property. She can even ‘shop’ for fresh produce in her own backyard because she has a full-scale farm there.

As a huge fan, I was so relieved when Bobby addressed all the talk about a possible rift with Tan back in January 2024. It had been swirling around since he announced he was leaving *Queer Eye* after eight amazing seasons, and it was tough to see! He finally set the record straight, which was great.
He told *Vanity Fair* that he and Tan are doing okay. They went through a personal issue, which is private between them, and it didn’t affect the show. He emphasized it wasn’t a romantic matter, just something that had been building up between them.
In March 2024, Tan addressed claims that he tried to get his friend Jeremiah Brent to replace Bobby on the show *Queer Eye*.
Netflix and the production team held extensive auditions. I didn’t recommend my friend for the role, but they ultimately landed it because they were the most qualified. I also want to clarify that I didn’t help them get the part by having anyone else removed from consideration, as he explained on Instagram.
After years of speculation about a conflict between them, Holly Marie Combs, Shannen Doherty’s former co-star on *Charmed*, revealed in a December 2023 podcast episode that Alyssa Milano supposedly gave a show producer an ultimatum: choose her or Shannen. Combs claims this led to Shannen leaving the show in 2001.
In a February 2024 Instagram post, Alyssa stated she couldn’t get anyone fired and claimed that any current accounts of the events were simply inaccurate retellings of something that happened a long time ago.
Shannen recently stated at a MegaCon Orlando panel that, to her knowledge, the true story of what happened has not been altered or rewritten.
Shannen passed away in July 2024 after a yearslong battle with cancer.
During a September 2023 game of “Stir the Pot” with her daughter, Kelly Osbourne, on TopMob News, Sharon Osbourne revealed that actor Danny Masterson, known from “That ’70s Show,” was the rudest celebrity she’d ever encountered. She described him as a very rude and unpleasant person.
He did not respond to her remarks publicly.
Five years ago, Sharon shared on Larry King’s show that Ashton seemed annoyed when he was a guest on *The Talk* in 2014, after she mispronounced his name.
She remembered him asking, ‘Who are you and what have you accomplished in this field?’ She responded sharply, telling him, ‘Don’t underestimate me, because I will completely overwhelm you.’ She added, ‘You have no idea what you’re up against, young man.’
In August 2022, Cassadee Pope and Maren Morris clashed with Brittany Aldean, wife of country singer Jason Aldean, after Brittany posted a video on Instagram. In the video, she thanked her parents for not allowing her to transition genders during a phase where she preferred traditionally masculine interests, adding that she now enjoys a feminine lifestyle.
In a 2022 TikTok trend, JoJo Siwa called Candace Cameron Bure the “rudest” celebrity she’d met, explaining that Bure once turned down her request for a photo on the red carpet. Soon after, Bure publicly apologized, saying she regretted hurting Siwa’s feelings when she was younger and was truly sorry for not taking the picture.
Candace and the other person resolved their differences. However, when asked months later if her network, Great American Family, would ever feature same-sex couples as the main characters in its holiday movies, she said it wouldn’t. She explained that the network would continue to focus on traditional marriage.
JoJo, who publicly shared they are part of the LGBTQ+ community in 2021, responded to the actress’ comment on Instagram, calling it “rude and hurtful to an entire community.”
In June 2021, Courtney Love claimed that Olivia Rodrigo had copied the album cover art for her band Hole in a promotional photo without proper credit. Olivia responded with a supportive message, saying, “Love u and live through this sooooo much.” Courtney then playfully replied, thanking Olivia and offering to share the details of her favorite florist in London, inviting Olivia to message her for more information.
While on *Watch What Happens Live*, the *Happy Days* actor explained the reason he and the *Forrest Gump* star didn’t get along while filming the 1989 movie *Turner & Hooch*.
I directed the movie for thirteen days, and then Jeff Katzenberg, the producer, told me to go home – that I had everything I needed, he said.
Winkler and Hanks’ dog seemed to hit it off. “I really loved that dog,” Winkler said, “We got along great.”
He also refused to admit if he’s even seen the flick.
“You know what you did!”
Anyone who watched *The Hills* probably remembers that famous line from Lauren, spoken at the start of season three. The drama between her and Heidi began when Heidi started dating Spencer Pratt, and it really exploded when Lauren claimed Heidi and Spencer spread a false rumor about her and Jason Wahler making a sex tape.
Let me tell you, drama definitely followed the *Fast and Furious* franchise! It all started when Tyrese Gibson publicly called out Dwayne Johnson on Instagram after the release of *Fast & Furious 9* got delayed. And wouldn’t you know it, on the very same day, they announced a spin-off movie starring Dwayne and Jason Statham! Things escalated quickly, and the next month, Tyrese even threatened to leave *Fast 9* altogether if Dwayne was still involved. It was a messy situation, and really highlighted the tensions brewing behind the scenes.
Tyrese recently discussed the long-standing conflict with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, telling Van Lathan on the *The Red Pill* podcast that he still hasn’t spoken directly to Johnson, though he hopes to. He mentioned he did talk to one of Johnson’s producing partners, but not Johnson himself.
Tyrese admitted he shouldn’t have publicly shared frustrations on behalf of others involved with the franchise. ‘I was the one who spoke up, and that was my mistake,’ he said. ‘It wasn’t professional or appropriate.’
No more bad blood here.
Taylor Swift and Katy Perry had a long-running public disagreement, rumored to be the inspiration behind Swift’s song “Bad Blood.” The conflict, which began with issues over a shared backup dancer and rivalry during concert tours, ended when Perry sent Swift an olive branch as a peace offering before Swift’s *Reputation* Tour began.
Taylor shared in an Instagram video that she found a real olive branch in her dressing room, saying it meant a lot to her.
Taylor captioned the video, “Thank you Katy.”
For years, Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker, stars of *Sex and the City*, dismissed rumors of a disagreement. However, those rumors resurfaced when Kim chose not to participate in a third movie and made some pointed comments about her co-star.
During a September 2017 episode of *Watch What Happens Live*, Andy Cohen asked Sarah Jessica Parker how she felt about Kim Cattrall telling Piers Morgan they had only ever been coworkers, not friends.
She was deeply upset, saying she felt heartbroken. They had talked about it all week, and she found it really disturbing because her memory of what happened was completely different.
It’s definitely sad, but I believe what truly connects us is the unique experience we all shared. It started as a professional project, but over the years, it became something deeply personal. I’m hoping that the strength of those years, and the special connection we all felt, will outweigh any recent disagreements. It was a real privilege to be a part of something so meaningful for so long.
And though they didn’t film scenes together, Kim did make a small appearance on And Just Like That.
Elton John and Madonna have been publicly disagreeing since 2004. The conflict began when Elton, while accepting an award at the Q Awards that year, criticized Madonna’s live performances. He famously said, “Madonna, best live act? That’s ridiculous!” and questioned her use of lip-syncing, suggesting anyone who lip-syncs during a paid concert shouldn’t be allowed to perform. His comments were quite harsh and caused a significant public fallout.
The actress, formerly known for her role on *Grey’s Anatomy*, caused a disagreement with the show’s creator back in 2008 when she asked to be removed from Emmy Award consideration. She explained her decision by saying she hadn’t been given storylines that she felt would earn her a nomination.
Oh my gosh, you won’t BELIEVE what Shonda said about Katherine! She talked to Oprah – *Oprah!* – on Oprah’s Next Chapter back in 2012, and she was so honest. She admitted it *hurt*, honestly, but she wasn’t totally shocked. She said something that’s basically my life motto now: ‘When people show you who they are, believe them!’ Seriously, she lives by that, and it’s been so helpful for her, and now for me too! It just… it makes so much sense coming from Shonda, you know?
The fight between Nicki and Cardi at the Harper’s Bazaar Icon party during New York Fashion Week became a major news story. A month later, Cardi explained what she said caused the conflict with Nicki.
Cardi B recently told W magazine that another person has been repeatedly criticizing her. They had talked twice before and seemed to resolve things, but the criticism continued.
The conflict truly escalated when Cardi B noticed Nicki Minaj had supposedly reacted to a tweet criticizing Cardi’s parenting, though Nicki claims she didn’t actually engage with it.
Cardi B explained she turned down a potentially hugely profitable Bruno Mars tour because she wanted to be with her daughter. She emphasized how much she loves her daughter and considers herself a great mom. She also responded to criticism about where she encountered another artist, saying opportunities like that don’t come around often, and she wouldn’t expect to run into someone famous casually.
The conflict between Kanye West and Taylor Swift began in 2009 when he interrupted her acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards. They later reconciled and became friends, but their relationship fell apart in 2016 after Kanye released his song “Famous,” which mentioned Taylor by name.
Just before the Grammys in February 2025, Kanye West began following only Taylor Swift on Instagram. He didn’t offer any explanation for the action, and Swift hasn’t publicly acknowledged it.
“I don’t know her.”
The supposed rivalry between Mariah Carey and Jennifer Lopez has been talked about for over 15 years. It began during an interview when Mariah was asked about other singers, and when asked about Jennifer, she simply stated, “I don’t know her.”
