Battlefield 6 maps: Full list of maps in the game

The latest Battlefield game is now available, and though it doesn’t have as many maps as some other popular shooting games, the maps it *does* have are impressively large and expansive.

The *Battlefield* series is known for its exciting land and air battles. Each game features environments you can destroy, creating unique and unforgettable moments you won’t experience in other shooting games.

This is a complete list of all the maps available in Battlefield 6, including those that will be added during the first season after the game’s release.

How many maps are in Battlefield 6?

At launch, there are nine maps in Battlefield 6, but that doesn’t tell the whole story.

The size of the battlefield will vary depending on the game mode – sometimes you’ll fight in a limited area of a map, and other times you’ll have the whole thing to explore. Plus, the maps won’t stay the same; they’ll actually change as the battle goes on.

I’m already excited knowing they’re planning even more maps down the line – I’ll tell you about those in a sec! But first, let me share the complete list we have right now!

All Battlefield 6 maps so far

Here’s the full list, including the global location of each.

Empire State

This New York map, set in Brooklyn, is designed for close-quarters combat on foot. Players will battle through narrow streets, but can also utilize the many rooftops and buildings for vertical gameplay.

Manhattan Bridge

Another map in New York, this one allows vehicles like tanks, and even helicopters for air support.

New Sobek City

This Cairo-based map is the first of two set in Egypt, and it offers a classic Battlefield experience. Expect long-range sniper positions, vehicle combat with helicopters and tanks, and lots of chances to make game-changing plays.

Siege of Cairo

Siege of Cairo is quickly becoming a popular choice for players who enjoy strategic gameplay, thanks to its close-quarters city battles and emphasis on infantry and tank combat.

Iberian Offensive

The Iberian Offensive is the first of two maps featured in the Gibraltar campaign, and it focuses on battles between infantry and tanks.

Saints Quarter

Saints Quarter is a Gibraltar map designed for infantry combat, featuring narrow city streets and plenty of locations for snipers. It’s perfect for earning kills in close-range battles.

Liberation Peak

I’m really liking this new map – it’s got a lot more long views, which is great, but there are still tons of places to sneak around and set up ambushes. It feels like a really good balance between open combat and sneaky tactics, and I can see some awesome plays happening here!

Mirak Valley

The new Mirak Valley map, located in Tajikistan, is the biggest one yet in the game. Players can use a wide range of vehicles, including fighter jets, helicopters, and tanks.

Operation Firestorm

I’m really impressed with how good this Battlefield 3 map still looks! It’s a classic for a reason – you get to drive or fly *anything* in the game while you fight to control all the important parts of this huge oil refinery.

All confirmed Battlefield 6 DLC maps to come

The first season of new content for Battlefield 6 will be released in three parts, starting just a few weeks after the game comes out.

Dubbed Rogue Ops, it’ll introduce the Blackwell Fields map set in the California badlands.

The next update for California Resistance will feature a new map called Eastwood, which is set in the suburbs and includes a large golf course.

So, I’m excited for the Winter Offensive update coming in December! It’s not adding a totally new map, but they’re giving Empire State a really cool winter makeover – it’s gonna be all icy and look amazing!
