DWTS’ Scott Hoying and Husband Mark Manio Expecting First Baby

Scott Hoying is dancing into a new chapter.

Pentatonix member Scott Hoying and his husband, Mark Manio Hoying, announced on the October 14th episode of *Dancing With the Stars* that they are expecting a baby.

Mark shared some exciting news in a video before the performance: he and his wife are expecting a baby, and their surrogate is pregnant!

Scott giddily added, “We’re gonna be dads.”

The couple—who tied the knot in 2023—emphasized their excitement to grow their family.

“We’ve always wanted this,” Mark went on. “Scott is going to be an amazing dad.”

Scott admitted it feels surreal to talk about becoming a dad, but shared he’s incredibly excited to start a family with his partner, saying they both feel very fortunate.

The singer felt so thankful that he wanted to show his husband some love during Dedication Night. He did this by performing a foxtrot to his own song, “Parallel,” which is about the night he and Mark first fell in love.

Scott revealed on the show that she’s fallen in love with him and was really hoping they’d reach this point in their relationship. She explained that she used to date people who weren’t kind, but meeting Mark felt like a huge relief – she finally felt she could be herself.

He explained that as your self-esteem improves, it positively affects everything else in your life. He really is a remarkable person.

And Mark gushed about how much Scott’s tribute to him meant.
