Square Enix and Artdink recently released a new gameplay video for the HD-2D Remake of *Dragon Quest I & II*. The video shows the hero’s quest to defeat the Dragonlord and save Princess Gwaelin, who was kidnapped in the original *Dragon Quest I*.
In a new video, producer Masaaki Hayasaka explained that while this story is based on the original game, the *HD-2D Remake* features many additions that both longtime fans and new players will appreciate. He also noted that the video shows only a shortened version of the events, encouraging viewers to play the full game to experience the complete story.
The remastered versions of *Dragon Quest I & II* are launching on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC (via Steam and the Microsoft Store) on October 30th. You can find more details about the game in these articles: [link 1], [link 2], [link 3], [link 4], and [link 5].
