Get ready for a lot more Batman! Matt Reeves is continuing his successful Batman story with *The Batman Part II*, even after some production delays. Plus, James Gunn at DC Studios is planning his own take on the Dark Knight. While Gunn isn’t revealing who he’s considering for the role yet, a list of potential actors is already being considered, so we can expect a new live-action Batman in the DC Universe fairly soon.
With the DC film universe figuring out how to handle multiple Batmen, the TV side is still enjoying creative freedom. The newest series, the animated show *Bat-Fam*, centers on Bruce Wayne balancing his crime-fighting duties with the challenges of raising a son. Of course, Gotham’s villains won’t make that easy. Here’s a list of all the villains confirmed to appear in Prime Video’s *Bat-Fam*, including one that fans think deserves a live-action adaptation.
10) Joker

Since *Bat-Fam* is a follow-up to the *Merry Little Batman* movie, you can expect some shared elements. The Joker will appear in the Prime Video series, causing problems for the Bat-Family. The trailer shows Damian Wayne pursuing him, but he’ll quickly realize the Joker isn’t an easy opponent.
9) Solomon Grundy

Let me tell you, don’t let the name fool you – Solomon Grundy is *not* a character you’d want your kids meeting. This villain is seriously dangerous, a truly terrifying undead monster who just wants to tear everything down. I just finished watching Bat-Fam, and Batman really has his work cut out for him. Honestly, even the Dark Knight might need to call in the whole Bat-Family to finally get rid of Grundy and save Gotham!
8) Killer Croc

As a huge Batman fan, I always get a little nervous when Killer Croc shows up – that guy is seriously powerful! And it looks like things won’t be any different in the *Bat-Fam* series. The trailer shows Croc is coming after Batman and his whole crew, and he’s not working alone. It seems like he’s teaming up with some other familiar faces, which definitely adds another layer of tension to the story!
7) Clayface

The “Bat-Family” series will show Bruce Wayne opening up his mansion to new faces, which is a change for the usually private hero. However, he needs to be cautious, as the dangerous villain Clayface is also present and could use the increased activity as cover. Although the trailer only shows Clayface in his monstrous form, it’s likely he’ll be able to disguise himself when the Prime Video series begins.
6) Mad Hatter

When people think of Batman’s greatest enemies, the Mad Hatter isn’t often mentioned. He doesn’t have the same impact as villains like the Joker or the Riddler, so he’s often overlooked. However, with neither of those two appearing in the trailer for *Bat-Family*, the Mad Hatter has a chance to make a bigger impression using his mind-control abilities.
5) Livewire

I’ve always been fascinated by Livewire, and while she’s not strictly a Batman villain, she definitely causes trouble for a lot of DC heroes. She seems to particularly enjoy challenging Superman, but I was really surprised to see her move to Gotham in *Bat-Fam*! Batman and his whole team need to be careful – her electrical powers are incredibly dangerous, and she’s not someone you want to mess with.
4) Ra’s al Ghul

As a huge movie fan, I’ve always been fascinated by villains, and Ra’s al Ghul is definitely one of the most powerful. He’s got incredible resources leading the League of Shadows and seems to have seen it all when it comes to threats. But what’s really interesting in the latest take is that they’ve reimagined him as a kind of ghostly mentor to his grandson, Damian Wayne. Don’t let that fool you, though – just because he’s not physically around anymore doesn’t mean he’s lost any of his power or influence. You definitely shouldn’t underestimate him!
3) Volcana

Volcana, much like Harley Quinn, first appeared in a cartoon show. She originally caused problems for Superman in *Superman: The Animated Series* and later reappeared in *Justice League*. However, the *Bat-Family* doesn’t see her as purely evil. After an incident with the Lazarus Pit, they take her in as a protégé, hoping she’ll learn to control her abilities and become a hero for Gotham City.
2) Catwoman

Catwoman is a vital part of most Batman stories, and she and Batman often share a romantic connection. However, the new show, *Bat-Fam*, won’t feature Catwoman as a character. Instead, Batman has a cat named Selina who might occasionally accompany him on missions.
1) Man-Bat

Perhaps the most unexpected visitor to recently arrive at Wayne Manor is Man-Bat. Instead of continuing his pursuit of Batman, the once-scientist is now simply relaxing and cooking at home. This fresh take on the character could be exactly what Man-Bat needs to finally make his debut in a live-action film.
Bat-Fam starts streaming on Prime Video on November 10, 2025.
