Jennifer Lopez knows where she came from, and she’s not interested in going back.
Jennifer Lopez recently shared that she doesn’t usually stay in touch with or check up on her exes.
On October 15th, during an appearance on *The Howard Stern Show*, Jennifer jokingly threatened to cut ties with someone, saying, “Once I’m done, you’re dead to me!” She immediately added, “I’m going to get in trouble!” according to *People* magazine.
Oh my god, she finally admitted it! It was her *first* time talking to Howard, and she totally confessed she was terrified of getting in trouble! She said it herself – that’s *exactly* why she avoided him for so long! I knew it! She was scared of what she might say, and now it’s all out there! It’s amazing!
Despite everything, Jennifer openly discussed her past relationships, including her former husbands Ojani Noa, Cris Judd, Marc Anthony (with whom she has 17-year-old twins Emme and Max), and Ben Affleck, as well as her former fiancé Alex Rodriguez.
“I don’t hold on, to be honest,” she explained. “Not dead to me, but definitely, it’s over, I’m going to move on.”
The Grammy-nominated singer understands it’s challenging to date with her level of fame, as every aspect of her relationships is heavily scrutinized.
She explained that she lives a very public life, and because of that, she wanted to share it with a partner. She’s looking for someone to share special occasions, like red carpet events, with.

Despite their breakup in 2024, Jennifer and Ben were seen together again at the New York City premiere of her new film, *Kiss of the Spider Woman*, which she also produced. Ben spoke very highly of his former wife.
He told TopMob News that Jennifer is amazing in the film, calling her “fabulous.” He explained that the movie was incredibly challenging because it involved highly skilled performers in singing, dancing, and acting, and required maintaining a complex tone throughout. He believes it represents the highest level of difficulty for any actor.

The actor, 53, praised her performance, saying she delivered it with elegance and confidence. He described her as wonderful, amazing, and spectacular, and expressed his excitement about being involved in the project.
You know, I was really struck by something Jennifer said recently. She was on *Today* with Craig Melvin and openly acknowledged how crucial her ex, Ben, was to getting their movie made. She said, and I quote, ‘If it wasn’t for Ben, the movie wouldn’t have gotten made,’ and she’s adamant about giving him credit for that. It’s so refreshing to see someone be that gracious and acknowledge a former partner’s contribution, even after a split. It just speaks volumes about her character, honestly.
