Be aware: the following contains significant spoilers for the EastEnders episode that aired on Thursday, October 16th, 2025. It’s currently available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
Okay, so last night’s EastEnders was really something! Young Harry Mitchell, played brilliantly by Elijah Holloway, found himself in a seriously tough spot *again*. It’s getting to the point where you just worry about that kid – it’s non-stop drama for him, and this episode was no exception. Definitely a tense watch!
Okay, so the scene is seriously intense. This guy, Harry, is being held captive – just locked in a room with nothing but drugs and a bucket. It turns out he’s being punished by these two guys, Ravi and Okie, because he secretly put a camera where it didn’t belong. Apparently, he caught them running some kind of illegal drug operation, and now they’re making him pay for it. It’s a really claustrophobic and unsettling setup.
Harry’s father, Teddy Manookian, was the one who accidentally left the camera at Kojo Asare’s apartment, but Harry stepped up and said it was his fault.
Because Ravi manipulated and intimidated Kojo into working for him, Harry can’t do anything to assist his friend now.
Since Ravi was busy with something else, he told Okie to release Harry. However, Okie decided he’d rather kidnap Harry’s girlfriend, Gina Knight (Francesca Henry), and continued to hold Harry captive.
I couldn’t believe Okie was so cruel! He deliberately teased Harry about getting closer to Gina, and then just left more drugs lying around for him to find. It was awful, especially knowing he was then off to The Queen Vic to meet Gina himself, like he was rubbing it in.
As Gina chatted about her family set-up, she probed Okie to share details of his life.
Okie shared that his father insisted on respect, but passed away when Okie was young. After his father’s death, Okie’s mother struggled with her life.
While Harry was pleading to be let go, Gina listened to Okie’s story with sympathy, but decided not to continue the date anyway.
In fact, Gina wasn’t convinced that Harry had ghosted her as she’d been led to believe.
She confided in Anna (Molly Rainford) that something felt off, but will she understand how much trouble Harry is in?
Okie went to see Harry again and falsely claimed to have been intimate with Gina. This led to Harry threatening Okie’s life.
However, a confident man from Oklahoma declared that he wouldn’t help, and asserted that no one was searching for Harry, nor would anyone care if he disappeared.
Alone and locked away, Harry took more drugs and seem resigned to his fate.
Kojo is in increasing danger, and things will become even more critical next week. Will Teddy and George Knight be able to locate him and Harry before it’s too late?
