
The recent PlayStation Network (PSN) issue that allowed some players to download a new PS5 game for free has been resolved. Anyone who successfully downloaded the game is currently still able to play it, though that could potentially change in the future.
PlayStation players have discovered a way to get a free PS5 game from the PlayStation Store due to a glitch on the PSN network. This issue has been happening for several hours, and Sony hasn’t yet responded. It’s unclear whether Sony will let players keep the games they obtained through the glitch. While Sony has previously removed games downloaded using similar glitches, they’ve also sometimes allowed players to keep them. There’s no clear pattern from the past to predict what will happen this time, though typically Sony revokes the downloads.
This week saw the release of *Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun* on PS5, priced at $39.99 on the PlayStation Store. However, players who already own the game on PS4 can upgrade for free. Interestingly, a loophole allows you to upgrade the PS4 demo version of the game to the full PS5 version.
