In 2026, Pokémon will celebrate its 30th anniversary with a special collaboration with Adidas. The partnership will feature redesigned versions of some of Adidas’s most popular shoes, though specific details are still limited. Adidas and Pokémon have teamed up before, but this new sneaker collection is expected to be the most extensive yet, honoring the beloved Nintendo and GameFreak franchise.
Pokémon & Adidas Team Up Again for New 30th Anniversary Sneaker Collection Release
Pokémon and Adidas are teaming up again! These new shoes are coming out to celebrate Pokémon’s 30th anniversary. While we haven’t seen what they look like yet, the collection will definitely include Adidas Samba and Superstar styles. There’s also a chance the Adistar XLG 2.0 shoe – which is similar in design to Pharrell’s Adidas Jellyfish shoes – will get a Pokémon-themed makeover as well.
This new shoe release follows a previous collaboration between Pokémon and Adidas in 2020, and is timed to coincide with Pokémon’s 25th anniversary. Pokémon has partnered with other major sneaker brands as well, including a recent Nike line. These Adidas Pokémon shoes are slated to launch in September 2026, long after the original games debuted in February 1996.
