For a limited time, Xbox One, Series S, and Series X players can get a scary game for only $1! The Microsoft Store is offering this deal before Halloween and ahead of the game’s sequel. However, you’ll need to act fast – the 95% discount ends on October 23rd. This is the lowest price the game has ever been offered on any platform, including Steam, PlayStation, and Nintendo.
From now until October 23rd, Xbox players on all consoles can get *The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters* for just 94 cents. While it might not be the most famous horror game on Xbox, it’s a great deal – most games cost more than a dollar! Plus, reviews suggest *The Coma 2* is well worth the small price.
About the Game
If you’re unfamiliar with *The Coma 2*, it’s a survival-horror adventure game developed by Dvora Studio and published by Headup. It’s the sequel to *The Coma: Cutting Class*, which came out in 2015, and a third game, *The Coma 3: Bloodlines*, is planned for release in 2026. While not a mainstream hit, the series clearly has a dedicated fanbase, allowing it to grow into a three-game franchise. This current discount is significant not only for its size, but also because another installment is on the way.
When it launched, *The Coma 2* received a respectable score of 77 on Metacritic, but players loved it even more. On Steam, 93% of over 397 users gave the game a positive review.
The game puts you in the role of Mina Park, a high school student hunted by a demon who wants to kill her. It’s a story-focused survival-horror experience, and since it’s very affordable, you can expect to spend around eight to ten hours playing it.
Other $1 Xbox Games
Right now, you can find a small selection of games for just $1 on the Xbox Store, but none are particularly standout titles. The most popular game at that price is *The Coma 2*. Another horror option, *The Child’s Sight*, is also available for $1, though it’s not as well-known or highly rated.
October hasn’t brought many exciting new horror games, but Xbox fans looking for a spooky Halloween experience could check out *The Coma 2*, which is currently available for just $1. While *Little Nightmares III* was expected to be a major release this year, reviews haven’t been great, and it costs a much steeper $40.
