How to get Master Ball in Pokémon Legends Z-A explained

If you’re trying to catch every Pokémon in Pokémon Legends Z-A, you’ll want to be as efficient as possible. Here’s a guide on how to get the Master Ball!

As a Pokémon fan, let me tell you, the Master Ball is the ultimate! It’s seriously the best Poké Ball ever because it guarantees you’ll catch *any* Pokémon – 100% of the time. No more worrying about a Pokémon breaking free!

With 230 Pokémon in the Legends Z-A Pokédex, a Master Ball is certainly a handy tool to have.

Getting a Master Ball in Pokémon Legends Z-A can be made easier with Mystery Gift codes, which often give you helpful items. Keep in mind that some codes are only available if you’ve pre-ordered the Mega Dimension DLC.

You can’t get Master Balls right away in Pokémon Legends Z-A. You’ll need to progress through the story a bit first, so check the mission list to see how much further you need to go.

Don’t forget to have some fun in Lumiose City! There’s plenty to do, from getting a new hairstyle to exploring everything the city has to offer.

How to get Master Ball in Pokémon Legends Z-A explained

Okay, so if you want to snag a Master Ball in Pokémon Legends Z-A, you gotta grind a bit with Mabel’s Research Rewards. Basically, you need to hit Research Level 49 to unlock one. It’s a bit of a climb, but totally worth it if you’re aiming to catch a tough Pokémon!

You’re at a tough level – 49 out of 50 – so expect to play for a while. But finding a Legendary Pokémon makes all the effort worthwhile!

You’ll need to unlock Mable’s Research Rewards, but you likely already have since it happens at the beginning of the game.

In the Main Mission “A New Life in Lumiose City” (Mission 03), you’ll need to go to the Pokémon Research Lab, where you’ll join the research program.

Your first task is to capture five Pokémon and then teach them a new (Technical Machine) TM.

After completing these steps, you’ll officially be part of Mable’s Research Rewards and can start working your way through the different levels.

This will only get you one Master Ball, however, so make sure to use it wisely!
