Eva Price, played by Catherine Tyldesley, is returning soon, and she’s now part of a happy, blended family.
Okay, buckle up, because the drama is thick on Coronation Street right now. Just when you thought things couldn’t get more complicated, Eva returns to find her half-sister, Leanne, walking in on Nick proposing to Toyah! Honestly, it’s a classic soap opera moment – perfectly timed, totally shocking, and leaves you desperate to see what happens next. As a critic, I have to say, the writers are really delivering with this storyline.
Becky Swain, played by Amy Cudden, attempts to reconcile with her former wife, Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers), even as Carla Connor (Alison King) returns home.
I’ve been really enjoying the quieter moments on the show lately. It’s sweet seeing Maggie Driscoll, played by Pauline McLynn, becoming a friend to Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) and just being there to listen when she needs it.
Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) uncovers another secret belonging to her half-brother, Carl (Jonathan Howard).
Hope Dobbs believes Jake Windass is behind a campaign of online harassment against her, and Theo Silverton is angry after Todd Grimshaw reveals he’s struggling financially.

6 Coronation Street spoilers next week
1. Eva Price horrifies Maria Connor with return – and steps in over Toyah and Leanne Battersby’s feud

Ben Driscoll (Aaron McCusker) surprised Eva by taking her outside the Rovers and revealing he’d purchased the pub as a gift for her.
Maria Connor (played by Samia Longchambon) is shocked to see someone from her past, and it looks like a confrontation is brewing!
A delighted Eva thanks Ben for the best surprise ever, and Leanne is thrilled to see her sister.

Just as Eva suggests Leanne get Toyah for a drink and a chance to talk things through, Leanne arrives at the Bistro and is surprised to find Nick proposing to Toyah.
How will Leanne react, and will Toyah say yes to Nick?
Eva meets her daughter, Susie, played by Aurora Bradshaw, and Ben’s son, Ollie Driscoll, played by Raphael Akuwudike, at the pub.

Ben approached Ollie with a business idea right as Toyah angrily confronted Leanne.
Eva tells everyone to leave, secures the Rovers, and demands that Leanne and Toyah finally resolve their issues. Will they be able to make peace?
Later, Eva and Ben celebrate, but Eva is horrified when Ben’s mum Maggie announces she’s moving in.

Admiring the new sign over the door, Eva holds a staff meeting about a Halloween party.
But there’s confusion when Maggie declares that Eva might be landlady, but she’s Eva’s boss.

Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) informs Ollie that the charges against him have been dismissed. Ollie then explains to Ben that a faulty MOT certificate led to the car accident.
After catching up with her ex, Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson), Eva invites him to the party.
Later, she gets Adam and Ben mixed up – they’re both wearing vampire costumes – and excitedly hugs Adam instead!

Ben chuckled as Adam rushed out, and Eva quickly explained that Adam was her ex-boyfriend, assuring Ben there was no need for jealousy.
After overhearing something surprising, Maggie starts to suspect Eva is hiding secrets. Will Maggie’s curiosity cause problems for Eva and Ben?
2. Becky Swain swoops in to win Lisa Swain back amid Carla Connor’s discovery

Lisa assures Roy Cropper that she’s moved on from her feelings for Becky and is really looking forward to seeing Carla.
When Carla arrives, Becky intentionally reveals that she’s been spending the night, which surprises Carla.
Carla watched the video of Lisa and Becky showing off Betsy’s (Sydney Martin’s) designs, and then told Lisa she was no longer coming to the Halloween party.

Betsy explains to Becky what Carla saw, and Becky forms a plan and heads to the party.
As their first wedding dance song plays, Becky gently reminds Lisa of the promises they made to each other, emphasizing how sincere she was when she said them.
As Becky tells Lisa they could be happy again, will she make her move?
And how will Lisa respond?
3. Maggie Driscoll supports troubled Asha Alahan

Asha is having a hard time assisting Gemma Winter-Brown with getting ready for the quads’ birthday.
Gemma shared her personal experience with depression and how she ultimately found ways to manage her negative thoughts.
Asha thanks her, but once alone, relives her recent trauma and hears Naomi’s voice in her head.
Maggie finds an upset Asha and encourages her to share her troubles.
Asha shared her experience with a suicide attempt and talked about her job as a paramedic. Maggie then wondered if Asha had encountered and assisted people facing similar struggles while working.
When Maggie urges Asha to show herself the same kindness, her words strike a chord.
Has Asha turned a corner?

4. Debbie Webster catches Carl Webster with James Bailey

Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) accidentally learns about Ollie’s conversation regarding the failed MOT test and confronts Carl, revealing him as the one responsible.
As Kevin and Carl square up, and Eva chucks Kev out.
Carl confronts Kev in the garage, upset that Kev one-upped him. However, things take a turn, and by the end of the week, Carl is the one being kicked out of the pub by Ben!

James Bailey, also known as Jason Callender, reconnects with Carl and lets him know he still cares, even after Carl’s recent actions.
But when Debbie appears, how much as she heard?
Kevin wants to reconcile with Debbie, but Carl manipulates the situation by falsely claiming Debbie’s dementia is worsening, hoping to win Kevin’s favor.
What will Kevin say?

5. Hope Dobbs accuses Jake Windass of sending her abusive messages

Cassie Plummer takes Hope for a Halloween makeover at the salon, but Hope soon gets another upsetting text message.
Hope saw Jake laughing at his phone and immediately assumed he’d been texting about her, so she angrily left the room.
The next day, Hope finds Jake, grabbing his phone and smashing it.
Gary Windass (Mikey North) and Izzy Armstrong (Cherylee Houston) call in to discuss the feud.
Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) doesn’t know what’s going on, as his wife, Fiz (Jennie McAlpine), is hiding it from him to prevent him from getting more worried.
So, is Hope right about Jake?
6. Theo Silverton seethes over George Shuttleworth’s helping hand

Honestly, I was totally surprised by Theo’s actions. I told Sarah Platt – Tina O’Brien, you know – that he’s been really worried about money lately. It explains a lot, but it’s still a shock.
Sarah thinks Todd should sell the car to refund Theo’s money. Meanwhile, George Shuttleworth offers Theo a list of chores he can do around the house to earn some cash.
While George thinks he’s helping by giving Theo work, Theo looks at the list with contempt.
With Theo’s abuse of Todd set to get darker, will Todd get the blame?
Coronation Street is collaborating with the charity Galop to accurately depict abusive dynamics in a same-sex relationship.
